New Grower My hindu kush auto

Wow shes beautiful very well done i cant wait one day i will grow a plant like that
Oh, it'll happen before you know it! And you're now in the hands of the people who taught me to grow, and I started growing late March, this year!

[emoji121] If I may make a suggestion, why not give hydro a try some time? [emoji106] [emoji16] [emoji6]

Thanks i hope so, and i would love too but unfortunately i live at home with my parents and they wouldnt allow that, but they dont mind outdoors, but im definitely getting a tent and indoor setup when i can and trying indoor soil and indoor hydro

In your case i would go with @Vlad The Inhaler s advice. It will work out and should be cost efficient enough. You dont loose anything if its a gram more or less because all that ph meter shit is fine tuning nothing else, never saw god putting a ph meter in rainwater... :pighug:

You have a good point clockworkorange haha and thanks everyone so much for all the time and effort put in helping me, i will be posting daily updates so you can have a look and let me know, if and when i might need some help if you dont mind haha cheers guys

Cheers guys i do have chickens and horses and that here its just not many people sell it i do have a rural/hydro shop here which will stock probably everything i need though i will have to have a look they do have canna products but there fairly expensive here, and i dont have a ph meter i know im ment too though, i have a drop test though and do nutes tend to drop ph or raise it because if they drop the ph it may work in my favour, thanks guys also can i get a cheap meter of ebay or something that will work?

Yeah, a lot of people love the cheap pH meters off eBay, little yellow one with a brass screw for calibration. Make sure you get a bottle of buffer 7 with it tho and calibrate it regularly tho or it'll give you dodgy readings.

The drop kits work with plain water but if you add nutrients, it changes the colour of the mix so you can't really tell when it's right.

Chicken shit... good stuff but it needs to rot down for a couple of months before you use it or it's very acidic.

So, found a pic of mine! :)

She was harvested on day 60, from dropping the seed, not germination.

Heres an update from today being day 3, and the plants first full day of sunlight i was worried i was going to end up killing it in the direct sunlight but it seemed happy but it was also pretty windy today the plant ended up moving in the soil like forwards i was worried the wind had damaged it so i guess i will have to wait and see anyway heres some picturesView attachment 656550 View attachment 656552 View attachment 656554 View attachment 656557

Yer plant looks happy maaate! (Check out my Aussie accent) [emoji38]

Is there moisture in the soil if you stick your finger in?

I wouldn't worry about the wind unless she goes horizontal. A lot of peeps reckon a bit of a breeze makes for a stronger stem. Personally, I think it's a load of bollocks but it doesn't hurt! [emoji41]

Cheers man yeah its damp when i put my finger into the soil i only water around the plant for now, as im trying not too over water her oh an as for tomato food i actually do have a fertilizer here its called seasol powerfeed (the green bottle) it apparently has 12.7.7 i think i will double check that should be good enough i think haha:bighug:

Fookinell! Go easy with that stuff Jimma, it's fookin strong!

I never feed my plants anything at all until they've eaten what's already in the soil.

Controversial! Seems to work ok tho! [emoji6]

The tomato food I use has an NPK of 4-3-8, much weaker than yours and the maximum feed I ever give is 3ml per litre. I usually end up having to add extra cal-mag tho.

Anyhoo... let's see how she grows.. [emoji2]

Best of luck James.. [emoji111]️[emoji111]️
