I know the results I achieved with this grow are not typical, but I was simply amazed with how she produced.

The strain is Greenhouse seeds Auto Big Bang.

Here are the details for the grow:

4x4x6.5 Secret Jardin Tent
6" 459 cfm Vortek exhaust fan
6" Phresh carbon filter
Portable AC Unit
1000 Watt HPS Hortilux bulb (Flower)
1000 watt Lumitek ballast (Flower)
400 Watt HPS Veg
C.A.P. Air4 controller (for the AC unit)
5 gal bubble bucket
6" netpot
4" rockwool cube
Grodan pellets
Lucas formula for Veg
Advanced Nutrients complete master gardener line for flowering (honestly I don't think this had anything to do with the results. I had a lot of problems with them)

Photo-period was 18 hours for the whole grow up until the last two weeks of flower I switched to 12/12, only because the other plants in the tent were not auto's and were ready to switch.

I don't know if it was something that I did or if I just had a strange phenotype for this strain. According to Greenhouse seeds this strain was supposed to finish in six weeks. This single plant took almost 90 days to finish. At harvest dry weight fully trimmed came out to 222 grams or 7.83 ounces.. Just a little under a half pound.

These three pictures were taken about three and a half weeks before harvest.

Yeah I'll start uploading the pictures here shortly.. I didn't realize it was against the rules to post a link to another site. I had a feeling it was, but wasn't 100% sure.

Should I upload all of the pictures from the grow (from seedling through harvest) or do you just want the last couple weeks?

These pictures were taken about a week before harvest.

That thing is a Monster... reminds me of Charlise Theron. :D

I wonder how much having 1000w worth of bloom lumens contributed to that...

To answer your question... I'd enjoy seeing some more pics of your choice.

Welcome to AFN!!

Ok these are the harvested pictures. You'll notice four or five of the branches that are hanging are really light green. Those branches weren't getting much light at all because of all of the upper branches. I dried these, but didn't bother trimming them. I just cut them up and threw them in a box to make butter out of them. So those branches are not included in the total weight. I only included the bud that was worth keeping.

Do you think the reduced light period was the reason for the extended finishing time?

Do you think the reduced light period was the reason for the extended finishing time?

I don't think so.. I was already flushing when I switched the light period. I'm more apt to think it was all of the problems I was having with the Advanced Nutrients. I was battling extremely high PPM's and PH that was through the roof. It would climb from 5.8 - 7.5 in an hour and a half.

Unless you are referring to using 18/6 instead of 24/0. If that's the case, then I doubt it because Greenhouse recommends to use 18/6 or 12/12 for this strain.

impressive +rep

Thanks man.. What is really impressive is that with all the stress I put this plant through it never went hermie on me. This thing has seen PPM's that maxed out my meter, PH in the mid 7's, temps in the triple digits, a busted branch from moving her out of the tent to change nutrients, and lack of space in the tent.

AutoBlaze :thread:man. Way to get those pics over here dude. Nice:ladies:ladies. Good job and I'll see ya around the threads dude...
