New Grower My first grow

Hey guys!

As you can see from the title this is my first grow, I bought a used set up consisting of..

2mx2mx2m tent
2x 600w lamps
carbon filter system
drip water system.

Bio-grow
Bio-bloom (BioBizz)
PK Warrior 9/18
Hygrozyme

I have now set up the tent, mixed the soil/perlite 70% bio-mix 30% perlite
and planted the seeds (day 1/3 of dark)




I have planted 8 seeds

2 X Auto White Widow
3 X Blue Treacle Automatic
2 X Auto Anesthesia
1 X Critical Auto
1 X SleeSlack

I haven't added anything yet because to be honest I don't know where to start
with the additives Bio-grow, Bio-bloom (BioBizz), PK Warrior 9/18, Hygrozyme.

I have planted the seeds in the soil but do you think its best to have the
light on or off during germination?

Welcome to afn! It is my understanding they dont need light until they break surface, and wont need 1200w until they get some size, but it may help to run your tent to get an idea for heat and humidity levels so you can get the environment dialed in for your girls

I have noticed my ballasts dont have dimmer switches and because of the size of my tent,
I will have to have both lamps on to cover the tent..

What should i do?

I still need help with my additives if anyone can help?

Hey Jimman, before the seeds pop the surface all they need is warmth, humidity, and oxygen. I agree with BRICH999 though. Get your environment dialed in before you run into problems. But running 2X 600W for 20hrs a day is kinda redundant. I'd hang a couple of cool white (6400K) cfl's above the young'uns for the first few days. 1200W hps is just way to much IMHO. An inverted shot glass over the seeds could also help with the germination. It maintains warmth and moisture around the seeds.
Another thing... How old is your carbon filter? You might wanna replace it before it is to late and you can't reach it. You want to stay covert at all costs. 8 ladies can really stink up the place towards the end.

Here i thought my shit didnt stink with my 4x4 tent and another newb comes along with a 6x6 and 1200w.. jealous!! Nice setup Sir.. best of luck on your first run.

If u re using bio bizz..at the first leaf u start putting root juice until it has the second leaf stage, then u start with bio grow, until the flowering stage where u use bio bloom and then at the finishing stage u use top max...don't forget to flush...good luck
