Some shady mofos for sure! There absolutely has to be a way to get the account back tho for Mugwump! If my moms Facebook was hacked and they also changed email, phone number, password etc and she got it back IG has to be same way!

@The Mugwamp have u tried going to the account that was stolen and hitting the 3 dots! I believe it has an option to report account and u can let IG know! I think I tried for u and it said only the person who’s account it is can report it as fraudulent!

I have to say though, every time I've had to change passwords on different sites, they always ask you for your password first. That's why I didn't think anything of it so Instascam need to sort that out, not that you can contact the fuckers to let them know, well I couldn't find a way

Also to change passwords YES you need to verify old password….. if u hit the option of “forgot password” u don’t cuz they just send u a link to phone or email to change it! Trying to find a link for Instagram help center where u can tell them what happened but supposed to be a way to report access lost and they’ll send a link to the original email or phone number used to sign up for the account!

I think you need a selfie as he tried all the other routes also I want to make this crystal clear though this is not his fault he just trusted the wrong person as I know this has knocked him badly and he's a great bloke @The Mugwamp

Oh ya I know that for sure! As stated my mom had same thing happen with her Facebook account! That link is for when u tried all the steps IG lays out without any luck! Also the selfie thing is only if u have images of yourself on your account they can compare it to! Selfie don’t help when it’s all pics of weed plants!

Yeah thanks for trying I've tried all that, every time I try to get them to send out a code to get back in, it gets sent to their number when I did find a way to get a code sent to my original email, that didn't work either, as the mofo has set up 2 step verification and they wanted the code for that so I'm buggered if I know.
I'm not that bothered about losing my account as i don't go on that often, I'm more pissed off that other people, mainly the AFN ers, who have probably been on there years and have put a lot of time and effort in, are getting scammed
