Indoor Mostly Blue Or Red Spectrum Is The Best FOr Autos

Im going to purchase a 250 watt cfl growing light and im being told from two different people that either one is the best can i get some more opinons on which would be the best for a overhang from start to finish auto strains ty in advanced

If it was me I would get the 250w in the 2700-2900k and few 26w 6500k for veg.

Hey Jackal thanks for quick reply alright so if i have 4-8 27 watt 5000k-6000k cfl and 1 68watt 2700k cfl and a 250 watt 2700k cfl would be good for a 1.9 x 2 space with 3- 3 gal jugs auto strain only

as far as spectrum goes i use a mix on both my veg side and the bloom side. I used to do only daylight for veg and then cool white for flower. I seem to get better results when i use both so i stuck with it. I feel that the plant gets a better of a balance of the light that it needs to grow.

I wouldn't declare anything definitive, but I'd lean towards blue (6500k). But 2700k is supposed to help produce more dense buds, so you should at least supplement with some of those if you can. I'm going with a mixed spectrum based on all the good results I've seen here.
