What is your electricity rate per kWh? Yea its cheap i was surprised.
Just bear in mind that their map may not be totally accurate. Unless you already know your price.
That’s worse than here in Los Angeles county even. Do you have a lower off peak rate? Maybe run lights at night and off during the day for the most part.0.33 it's awful
We don’t have off peak, but I run my lights mostly at night because it’s hot AF.
Yea i looked on my bill its .09 during the day and .086 at night. Makes me want to up to a 400 watt light now. Lol i figured 300watt would raise me 50bucks honestly. You think 400watts in a 30"x48" closet is to much?
Generally you want 30 watts per square foot. Looks like you’re on point. In my 4x2 I run 40 watts a square foot, and in my 4x4 I run exactly 30 per square foot. Same exact lights just different wattages.
I seem to get better performance in my 4x4 for whatever reason. I got 43 oz from 3 autos last 4x4 run. Plants in my 4x2 seem to average about 12ish oz each. I think the environment in the larger tent is just better.
Anyway, not sure if you’d benefit much especially if you can easily dim the light. I like focusing more on as perfectly even coverage as possible. YMMV.
