Grow Mediums Mom's AutoCob, AutoPot, AutoMazar, MegaCrop Grow :-)

Don't be afraid. You are basically going to remove like 60% of all fan leaves on the plant except for the fans on the top of each stem. It will open up the plants and give you so much more space for the buds to grow an so light to get in.

I did it for the first time, mom, defol i mean. LOL!
Always been scared to do it...you ll find pros and contras but...i ll stick on defol forever...
Was also on advice from Med... Take a look in my Trancy state of Mind thread and u will see the weekly evolution after defol.
Only reason my plants stayed low is a too early and too low lst while struggling with distance of the new cob...
Its just by doing it you ll find out....i googled too much on it!
Was a heavy defol and things turned out nicely without mold...
Good luck.

OK..."Start with taking everything growing inwards on every branch, except the top two levels of fans on each stem"
Im not quite sure what that means. take off all leaves except the top branches...or leave some leaves on each stem? could you describe a little more or have a picture?
I am afraid I will do it wrong! (i have never really done this)
:face:

oh my, im afraid, but will do Saturday...

I’m way better at defoliating when I’m drinking :crying:

I guess what it really boils down to is I’m less hesitant. In all seriousness though, I find if I’ve had a few beers and I’ve been hitting my vaporizer I have way less of a hard time with it. Probably something to do with not over thinking it

gotcha. snip off all/most but leave the fan leaves on the ends of each stem.
I am going to remove EVERYTHING at least a foot up the plant, there is so much down there it is a bush!...

looking great,super happy tent :smokeit:
:pighug:
Thank you hon! I cant imagine how tight it would be in there if the largest of the 3 had survived.
:yoinks:

It will be my first time to. I am a defoliation virgin!
I am so afraid of stopping or stunting her bud growth, but then again if i dont do it she will have no bud growth...going to get my daughter to help me snip the heck out of her.

Good job Mom! You did good, no worries, just take a breathe...:zen:

She will be fine, you will see. :watering:
I am so afraid of stunting her growth, but then again, the buds wouldnt grow with all that foliage! I am working on her sister now....wish me luck
:d5:

It only slows them down a couple hours and then they go right back to it. No worries:thumbsup::thumbsup:...two thumbs up:rofl:

They will love the light and reward you for surely. Just wait two days and you will see them fill right back up again. It's crazy, but it is a weed ya know!
