Every day they amaze me. I can see roots coming out of the bottom, AND all over the top. I think I will try and pack a little more coco on the top of the cups. Funny, the (2) ladies in the metal tray look a little less green and a bit splotchy. The only difference is they started out their first few days with MegaCrop, and they are in perlite instead of clay pebbles.

My beautiful girls~ Today they were put on "week 3 feed" which increased their FloraGrow up to 1/4tsp per gallon from 1/8th.
They also got topped...oh I didnt want to~ But we must...So O with their heads! I am also seeing some major root action in the (2) girls that are in 16oz clear plastic solo cups. How incredible to be able to watch what is going on "under" the surface. Loving these ladies so much. :smoking:
I think I already have in my mind my competition lady, #1 on the far right.

I do find it very odd that lady #3 & #4 are showing a few signs of leaf discoloration, and #1 & #2 are not. Same light, same current top feed on same schedule. The only differences are/were:
1. Their cups were filled with coco/perlite, not coco/pebbles like the other 2.
2. They are in 16oz Clear plastic solo cups with sleeves, not 16oz red solo cups like the other 2.
(I didnt put holes in the sleeves, maybe the other 2 are getting more oxygen?)
3. The first 5 days of life they were top fed MegaCrop, not bottom fed GH FloraTrio like the other 2.
(They are now all top fed on the same jug of Flora feed on same schedule.)
4. They are sitting in a metal tray, not plastic like the others.

I will at least try to get their bottom trays switched out to plastic today.

Time sure does fly. Today was their last feed of week 3...and week 4 feed starts tomorrow. I started to have real issues with plant #3 and #4 and I dont know why. I do know, however, that I dont have the time, energy, patience, or space to fight figuring out the issue, so let's just say~ my mom had some cannabis stem tea, and my cat had some fun with the leaves. Anyhoo, #1 and #2 seem to have no issues, and have taken their topping like champs. I can def. see structure differences. I believe lady on the Left is going to be moms battle plant. Their coco is not dry in the morning when I feed, so I dont feel it is time to up the feedings to 2x a day quite yet. Will keep close eye on it. Once my Brother Mendel Midwest Widow is done in the big girls tent in a week or so I may move these ladies over into it and put them under the Mars2000. I dont think the T5 will do them justice for flower.

Thank you hon, I am proud of them! I just hope I can keep doing them justice...never been this far in a cup before!
