Mold?

Pretty sure I just found mold in my thickest bud on the main cola. It appears the rest of the buds are fine and about half of the cola doesnt have any. What should I do? It is close to ready if not already. will it spread still if i don't cut?

I'm not sure if you have to cut it or not to stop the spreading of the mold.
But all is not lost. Some members on this forum use the bud that has mold on it and make extracts such as hash, oil, bho etc

Yes, it'll not be safe to smoke. You'll been to ice hash, iso or bho it.

if you have a scope what are the trics like, day count etc how long left to go?
i think i would chop off the section myself or harvest if near done. i found mold in the main cola of a plant i just harvested, it was travelling down the stem in the centre of the bud but i couldnt see anything from the outside. best to stop it before its everywhere. see what others think though.

separate the moldy bits soon as you can if you harvest dont dry them with the rest if you keep them atall.

*from what i hear ice hash is not mold safe, neither are edibles. bho and other solvent based ones should be.

I'm not exactly sure about the exact ratio for the mix. I found the info on google. I do know a little bit goes a long way.
