Is anybody of you using molasses?
My EC is increasing quite heavily when I mix f.ex. 1 tablespoon of molasses to a ready prepared gallon of nutrients (Floraflex). The nutrients had an EC of 1.7 now in week 3 and a pH of 6.0 before I added the molasses when the EC jumped to 2.4, keeping the same pH. Now it's the first time I'm using molasses and found a very cheap solution which has some tiny parts of ingredients but no sulfour/sulphite (Norwegian) as I can see on the label and it says 100%pure Molasses, even if it doesn't say where it comes from. The consistency is not as sticky as I can find it described in everything I read and saw and it is easily soluable in room temperatures water in a couple of hundred milliliters of water (which I take from the gallon before I mix the nutrient solution).
I'll try to upload the list of 'ingredients'.
The label says it's made of sugarcane molasses and that nothing was added to it.
3% raw protein
11% ashes
48% sugar
and the other ingredients are easily translated I hope.
My girls look super happy
This stuff I use is actually made for horses to encourage them to drink more.
So.....who knows about stuff like this in here??
Take good care of yourselves and your girls
