Thanks Homie!! Well, I have some Photo plants lined up, but I do look forward to running some more autos soon!

In the meantime check out a few pics of the nugs from the recent harvest!

Here from left to right we have -- Skywalker, Grape Crinkle, Double Grape, and Menage Tyrone

Here is Skywalker . This one actually turned out exactly like the skywalker I am used to getting in the disp. around LA. Fantastic work by mephisto here. The plant yielded well and all flowers were solid and golf ball sized mostly.

Grape Crinkle - This one reeks of a grape candy like aroma, with a tiny hint of a peppery musk behind it. The buds were fat on this plant, and I would love to run it again soon

Double Grape - This one reeeeeeks of a sour grape/dank smell that I can't get enough of. The buds are fat, dense, and absolutley covered in Trichs. I think these plants have been my most pleasurable to grow yet, and the tall one yielded very well. Stoked to get these ones cured up and ready to fully enjoy

And Last but not least Menage Tyrone - This plant is an oily monster! I can't believe the size and smell of this plant at under 70 days. It has this incredible Citrus Pine Candy smell as my girlfriend put it. Fantastic work here by Mephisto, once again.

And that's how the nugs from the auto patch are looking! I'm about to press out a lil low temp rosin and I'll try to take a few pics!! I hope ya'll had a great holiday and are ready to get it in 2017!!

Well I'm not sure if I have enough of the grow documented here, but I do have a journal in the Platinum LED thread. I'd be honored to be taken into consideration, but not really sure if I can hang with some of the big dogs out here! I'm just finishing my 2nd year of growing, and I'm slowly improving! lol Thanks!!!!

Well here are a couple pics of a Rosin pressing sesh with some Menage Tyrone. I couldn't resist, as this strain has this wonderful fruity dank smell that I just have to taste from the banger. Here goes ...

Here's my supplies and some of the nugs I'll be pressing

I press at the lowest setting on my straightener, which is 250. I know this is still considered hot, but it's hard enough to collect the saucy rosin as is, and the taste is still very strong and terpy. Doin the best I can with what I got!!

Mash the nug into a little ball and into the corner of the parchment paper it goes

Then I quickly squish the shit outta the thing and clamp it down for about 30 seconds or until this goodness happens

Then I do this a few more times, and throw the papers into the freezer for a second. Then I spend a bunch of time scraping and collecting until I have a nice little slab.

Here's a closer look. This shit is super terpy and a little bit goes a loooong way lemme tell you! Extract grade autos is an understatement.

That was all from a handful of nugs. Also, this is all first press, where the chips can be pressed two or three more times to extract what oil is left. I like to separate the Rosin though, as the first press always tastes the best for me. The second and third always have a slightly burnt taste due to my high temp.
