This is a perfect light for a small grow. The plants love it.
They do get extra hungry with it, took me a few months to get used to it but I highly recommend it. The seedling pic is was taken exactly 17 days before the others. Growth is rapid, thick and dense.

Very nice, I have the same one. I trust the design but I do wish it wasn't hanging from the cable. Just a small thing but the compact design is so clean as is.

I know what you mean. The cable seems plenty strong enough though to be fair. I changed from cfl to the aray and it took me a while to adjust to how much more hungry they get!

I'm liking my Aray 2+Red, a very efficient light!
Central cable hanging isn't the best, I like my light to stay as I like it and not free to move to the orientation it likes.
Looking at the "Aray Seedling" and the "Aray Seedling L" 65W and 100W respectively, they have ratchet hanging end pieces due to them being a single bar!
I wonder if Shane @ Migro would sell the end pieces so we too can use ratchet hangers and therefore solve the hang by the cord issue!

There are two screws holding the end plates on, something anyone should be able to swap over, if they were available for purchase.
The seedling Aray light look to have the same PAR map as the other Aray lights, so even though they are called "Seedling" they should be more than capable of growing a plant full cycle, right to the end of flowering.
This means even smaller spaces can be used to do micro grows! I may even try one in my PC Server grow cab and replace the CREE CXB 3590 COB I built which runs at a max of 50W and dims down to 5W, The 65W Seedling Light would do the job, just need to measure the length of the PC case first to make sure it could accommodate the Aray Seedling bar.
If not I could/would build a micro cab to accommodate it.

Further looking, into Migro Aray lights, has shown the Shane @ Migro has had other mention the "S" hook cord hanging issue!
This has lead to a change in the design of the hanging architecture of the light and the inclusion of a chaining light dimming port on the driver.

Changes made to the Migro Aray series

New
- The ability to have a more secure connecting bar, held in place by allen screws.

Connect the LED bars together with the connector brackets provided. Centre the bracket along the length of the LED bar (line it up with the Cable gland) and screw in place using the allen key provided.

New - The ability to use "rachet hangers" on the newly designed cable splitter or use thw "S" hook as per the original Aray design.

I really like the additions they have made, good design changes. I was looking at one of the new "seedling" bars to supplement the Aray 2 I have. It works better than its specs would suggest.

I added an Aray 2 to my collection a few grows ago to handle it's share of a 3x4 area alongside a 220w and a 150w boards. The unique design is impressive, and it finishes a plant well if isolated and kept close during final flower stage. Must admit I shoulda bought bigger.
