Indoor Micro.grower’s Return!!! 475 watt stealth cab

2 month update!!! (Part I)
  • Let’s just start off by saying… this box is doing its job wonderfully!!! It’s came a long ways, as far as filling up in the past 2 months. I can only upload 15 pics at a time, so im

Pistash from “TH seeds” has been a phenomenal photoperiod plant so far. It’s responded well to topping and is growing new shoots quick. I’m really stoked about getting to try this strain out. While still young, she is looking great.

next up is Banana candy krush, also by “TH seeds”. Another photoperiod plant that has responded well to topping. This is also one of my younger plants so I have yet had the chance to LST it. But just as the Pistash, she’s looking good.

next up is the triple cheese lady from “big Buddha seeds”. She has respond excellent to the topping and LST performed a while back. Not sure of the dates, but they coincide with the socal masterkush. She’s quite the bush!!!

next is socal masterkush from “bc bud depo”, one of my fav photo period strains that I have yet to flower out. Lol. This was the photoperiod strain of choice for me outta all the other strains I’ve acquired. Something about master kush. The taste, smell, and medicinal effects are all perfect to me. She’s produced a nice little knot from where she was topped last month.

and last but not least, we have gastropop from “compound genetics”. I do have info on this exact cut flowering out and having a apple tasting pheno to it. It was the clone out of three I was looking most forward to and the only one to make it. It has grown extremely tall and is essentially the entire height of the veg chamber. I will be taking clones off of her soon. She’s definitely got the growth for it.

    2 month update!!! (Part II)
  • That’s was fun. Time to focus on the flower chamber. Where all the sticky smelly stuff is. Lol

    83B5E4B2-85F9-459E-85D6-AF212B54299C.jpeg

first up is biodiesel mass auto. I believe it was originally from “advanced seeds”, but I got these seeds off a girl that was hit up with CS spray. Quite the bush and is finally finished stretching, I think. Lol. For the seed being free and coming from a buddy, I have no complaints at all about this one.

next up is the auto purple punch of xl from “sweet seeds”. While being the same age as the other girls in the flowering chamber I would have hoped she would’ve been flowering a bit more by now, but as lanky as she was, this is a welcomed sight considering more bud will be produced.

and the last auto of the post is honestly my current fav of all the plants I currently have. This is lemon meringue auto by “tastebudz seeds”. She is the frostiest, thickest, and the most preferred size out of all of the plants. I predict she’s gonna be a smelly lady here soon.

3 month update on the flowering girls!!!
  • All is well in the box. I have about a week and a half left in the grow and the buds are def swelling. I have majority cloudy trichs with a few amber here and there.

the lemon meringue auto has def been the thickest growing buds outta this run. Super terpy. Can’t wait to try her out.

as far as the biodiesel mass auto goes, it was a freebie, so no complaints, but will prolly be a while before I run this strain again. The buds were super light and airy. Hopefully the smoke turns out pretty good.

next grow, I will also be rotating the pots throughout the grow. I feel like the light really took its toll on the center of the grow. Notes taken for future grows.

    Last pics before harvest!!!
  • As the title says, these are the last pics I’m taking and posting before I harvest the girls on Friday. This has been a fun grow. I’ve given em 9 weeks of flowering and 5 weeks of veg time. Overall, they have been pretty easy to grow. I know people insist on ph.ing for the best optimum buds, but I’ve never been one to do it. These girls have handled it pretty well. I’m curious to see how these photos do once they are flowering. All cutting have roots, but are currently still in the cups I’ve had em in for a while now.

onto the group shots of the lemon meringue auto and biodiesel mass auto.

next up is the biodiesel mass auto. This one has def grown to more of a Sativa like structure. Very tall buds and not as dense as the lemon meringue. But she has filled out a good bit to what she was a few weeks ago. Really glad I went the extra week to let them fill in more. Both plants show some slight purpling on the calyxes. I’ve also collected two completely healthy seeds out of about 30 that I’ve counted off of this girl. Really stoked to try this strain crossed with blueberry glue auto.

and last, but def not least is my favorite out of the two of em. This will be my heavy yeilder for sure. Thick nice dense nugs. Grew to literally the perfect height and size, and the terps coming off this girl are outta this world. Really excited about this one. I’ve also counted about 5 mature seeds in this plant that the blueberry glue auto fathered.

I’m thinking after this next photo run, I’m get back into breeding. I have the durrty dragon (green pheno) x querkle (purple urkle pheno) seeds coming soon and now the auto crosses with the blueberry glue auto male. Both flowering females right now have a very strong citrusy terp to em, so it’ll be cool to see how the blueberry glue influences the offspring. I hope y’all have enjoyed this grow and are down to stick around for the next one.

they will be in complete darkness for the next 7-14 depending on how long they take to dry. I will be dry trimming them as well. When they are dried and trimmed, I will update with a dry weight. I’m honestly not too worried about a wet weight. I will be tending to the ladies that are in the veg box, and as soon as the autos are done drying, they will be going to the flower box. Vegged for about a week or so to train them, then they will be flipped to 12/12 and flowered out. Strains that are gonna be flowered are gastro popz, triple cheese, socal masterkush, pistash, and banana candy krush. While keeping the six dif strain cuttings going in 16 oz cups in the veg chamber. On my way to perpetualness.

    Round two!!!
  • I know I said I would post pics tomorrow, but I figured I’d go ahead and share em tonight. I love that I was able to train and get these plants ready while the autos were flowering. And while these are flowering, I’ll go ahead and train the cuttings in solo cups. Then pop those into rotation after these are finished flowering in a couple months. On the road to becoming perpetual!!!

ended up going with 2.5 gallon pots and 10” catch trays for the overflow. Hopefully this will save me from having to get em in and out when it’s time to water and feed. I will also be doing a lot of lst on them in the next couple of days. Really just want em to get past the transplant shock before I start training them. Also used fox farm ocean floor soil for all these.

    049A3B8B-BCCA-4141-AC7A-38F6E048AB1F.jpeg

onto the cuttings. All the ones in the red cups have rooted. The ones in the blue cup have started to grow the tiniest of root nubs, and the three in the water cups are still just hopefuls. If they don’t make it, I’m not gonna be upset, since I already have at least one of each strain rooted. they will stay in solo cups till I pick the best cuttings of each strain and prolly give the other cuttings away to friends and family. Went with fox farm happy frog soil for these.

for now, that’s pretty much it. Hopefully this grow will go as planned and I have all females. Fingers crossed. Thanks for looking and following the ride.

2 grows down, 1 big update
  • So… I wanted to discuss the harvest weights a bit. This round, I trimmed all stem off of the weighed weight. Last harvest, I honestly kept a bit more stem just cause I thought the bud on a stick thing kinda looked cool, but it was unsmokable weight. I also have almost all 100% usable sugar trim from every
    plant harvested.

the light…. If u look at previous pics I’ve posted of it, there is a center radius, and everything outside that radius gets really Larfy. This outside area also appeared as nitrogen toxicity simply because it wasn’t getting enough light to absorb the nitrogen. This left the plant in the middle and the inside area of the other plants nitrogen deprived, while the outside had too much nitrogen left in the plant.

I feel like the ac infinity s24 ionboard grow light will fix this issue. The shape of the light is rectangle and will leave a a 6” gap between it and the rim of the roof. I’m really stoked to get to try this new light out. While only pushing 200 watts, I think the even distribution of light will be perfect. Plus, I’m really thinking with the right training, I’m gonna be able to fix the bleaching issues.

I’m gonna go home and make measurements and see how many clones I have that are ready to go and what size pots I need to fit all of them in for flowering out this next round.

I think it will be a good comparison of how the buds turn out. They may even finish earlier with the proper lighting. This last run and the first, half seemed ready and the other half didn’t. I think the next round will hopefully be an even canopy.

I have a small window to get a grow in before moving, so I’ve decided to go with the clones I have. I know that they’ll be good to harvest and dry in time. I really wanted to do a SOG run of seeds that I made from the last round of autos, but I’m gonna wait. It’ll be the first grow in the new place so I want it to be as perfect as possible. 4th grow in, I should have it dialed in pretty good, or one would think. Lol. Slowly working out the kinks.

I’m also gonna hold off on lollipopping and only heavily defoliate when needed.I think both those methods are solid for people who have height and room to grow taller plants in, but I end up with a lot of stem I’m having to train down. Too much work. Lol. Trying to make this as easy as possible with the largest harvest possible.

With my soil, I will be reusing the soil from last grow and adding a bag of fox farm to it. Pretty sure it’s a bag of happy frog. I wanna find some dry amendments to add as well. The idea is if I can just water with seltzer water every week, I think the grow will flourish. Maybe add some topsoil amendments halfway through.

all in all, I’ve learned a lot about this box and what I can do with it. I regret not making it slightly taller, but had it been taller, I’d prolly have a complaint about it not being wide enough. Lol. I’m gonna make it work and my ultimate goal is to pull a pound out of this cab. It may seem impossible, but I don’t think it is. Granted this would be a nug/cola wall to wall thing, but the grows are definitely improving. I think ultimately, they can only get better.

I’ll prolly some pics tonight of the dried and trimmed nugs. I can say that I smoked a small nug of the socal master kush and it had a fresh taste for sure, but it also had the sweetest hashiest taste ever. I also sampled a small nug of the triple cheese. Same as the last, def a fresh taste, but it also had a strong blueberry flavor to it. Both got me so stoned. Lol. I usually smoke a blunt of some 20%+ indica before I go to bed and that was not needed at all.

i would love to hear y’all’s opinions on all this.So please feel free to chime in.

This is the banana candy krush. The only pic I got before she was chopped up.

    Banana candy krush- TH Seeds
  • This strain has such a tropical smell to it. And the taste… 100% bananas!!! It’s a Sativa dom hybrid, but has a heavy body stoned to it like an indica. Really uplifting and creative then a whole lot of chill on the ass end of it. Overall, this strain did the best. It was also the strain that stayed directly below the light the entire grow. It suffered from lack of nutrients at times while I tried understanding the what seemed like nitrogen toxicity in the others. Def a super smooth smoke and one that will stay in rotation for a long time!!!

    Gastropop- Compound genetics
  • This is a strain that could’ve done a lot better had it gotten proper lighting. I am thoroughly impressed with it. Super grapey fuel smell to it and the taste is just as pleasant. By far some of the most purple buds I’ve ever grown. Another strain that will stay in rotation for awhile.

  • I love the way this gal colored out. Her smoke is super creamy and she smells just as sweet. It’s a good all day smoke, feeling like an almost balanced hybrid. No regrets on this girl and if I’m remembering it correctly, next round will have 3 of these going. Really stoked to see how these grow out with proper lighting.
