Just tasting the stuff from my first auto run with Onyx and AA, now I'm trying some Mi5 and Himilayan Blue Diesel. I'm using straight promix hp with about 1/3 added perlite. They'll be under the my 6 bulb badboy for the duration.

I believe it's week four for these autos now. I have 3 HBD and 2 Mi5 from shortstuff.

Looking good man. I wana give both those strains a try at some point, so looking forward to seeing how yours turn out. Did you put the seedlings straight into the promix and have you had any nute burn issues? at what point did you need to add nutes btw? Sorry for all the questions, but I don't see a lot of people growing autos in promix.

:peace:

Good shit man. Those are my next testers haha. I'm curious to see how these run so I'll be tagging along.

ganjabro brought back the laptop charger so I'm back!
I started on day 7 with a foliar feeding of growth plus (its the shit) I think i should have used more in the first weeks of flowering because it causes stretch.
Day 14 I think I used fish emulsion fertilizer in weak strength; then I'm using 3 part general hydroponic fertilizer. Fish, fert, water, whenever they were dry in that order. My first auto run I had a ton of problems. but everything has been perfectly healthy. Switched to a heavier bloom nutrient mix
Promix from day 1, and I started them in 4" pots. Day 26 I transplanted them into the 10" 3 gallon pots. These pics are from the 26th! I'll try to get on here again soon to post some recent stuff

Lots of us here using Pro Mix. Keep them on veg nutes through week 6 to maximize the yields. I would also suggest having some cal/mag and a PK booster on hand. Mi5 in particular sometimes exhibits cal/mag deficiencies around week 6 or 7 and P deficiency in late flowering, around week 9 or 10, when grown in Pro Mix.

This is just a question not a critacism. I found that AN nutes were not supplying enough PK to the plants and I just hit them with a shot of 5-20-20 that they took to it well. What PK booster are you using? I totally agree with using cal/mag at the start in the mix. It is the only addative that I use.

Hey Muddy, thanks a lot for the advice, and the heads up on the mi5; I already picked up some cal mag for the first run and next feeding I'll throw some of that in. Unfortunately, I definitely started to switch nutes over too early, but it's still not full bloom strength yet of course. Nelson, lol good to see both my buddies from tmf, still posting. (I went by 'ganjagrower') What do you use for a pk booster, I'm not using anything. Anyhow I'll probably go take some photos and post some shit up.
Thanks again.

In my big bubbly tank I am using mostly AN Spectra nuits. About twice during the bloom cycle (about once a month) igive them a shot of miracle grow bloom normula. It seems to hit them with a little more P. I usually test the water with a PPM meter and I also use a Sudbury NPK test kit to get an idea on the NPK balance in the tank water. I like to keep the soution about 800 PPM and about twice the P level as everything else. I find the phospherous seems to burn off faster than everything while they are in flower.

It is nice to meet up with former TMF members. Good luck growing. Muddy and I are still good friends when we are not fighting over politics and even when we are.
