Hey everyone, been super busy here lately with buying a new home and such, But i had to drop in and ask a question. My one and only MI5 female that made it is looking funny. Thank goodness I managed to seed her but the seed pods are starting to turn brown. I would say about 10-15% of them are brown, today I touched one and it fell off so I peeled the skin off and while the seed was large and hard, it still looked a little premature to me. The plant popped the tap root on the 11th of April and had been out side every since. It is a stunted little thing (only about 6-8 inches tall. The rest of the plant is still green, just the seed pods turning brown. What does this mean?

Ithink it means the seeds aren't ready yet.Keep checking the seeds and don't worry about the green leaves, seeds should be medium brown to dark brown.

Any branches that are seeded will usually turn brown faster than the rest of the plant. All the energy is going into making the seeds, so the surrounding leaves tend to brown faster. Mature Mi5 seeds are usually a greenish brown color. Sounds like yours aren't quite ready yet.
