MH increase resin production?

The reptile UVb MH lights are the best source of UV indoors. (By output)
Then the long t5 UV light.
A friend with UV test equipment told me this.

UV B has been researched experimented and proven key ingredient to resin production.

I put a UVB reptile CFL mid flower of my first grow and resin production took off and plants directly under the uvb where way more frostier, now only my CB is in there and the flowers under that buld more resinous than all the other owera across the whole plant.

Thank you all for your input I've been trying to figure out the best way to increase resin and reptile uvb bulbs seem to be it. I spoke with mastereekman about his led that's running uvb bulbs and he said that they have increased his trichome production so I'll be getting at least 2 to hang on my reflector

There's a particular brand of T5 I read about on another board that is supposed to be THE way to go for UVB; I'm a little too lazy to look it up right now, but when I come across it I'll post the info from the thread.

UVC is used to kill bacteria and viruses. DO NOT use UVC in your tent, it will damage the DNA in your pot and in your skin!
