New Grower Mephisto's Grape Crinkleberry/ Mango Smile x Grape Crinkleberry!

My two GIRLS hitting Day 30 tomorrow and I figured I'd do an update for these big and now confirmed girls! Both are starting to get preflowers and they've both gained 5 inches of height and I have not done any defoliation or training, I plan to do a little leaf tucking and trimming up a couple lower preflowers! I'll be happy to get some feedback on training or not to train 🤪!?..... Day 29 Grape Crinkleberry

I wasn't expecting the Grape Crinkleberry to stretch more than the Mango Smile x Grape Crinkleberry! The smells every morning are mostly from the Mango Smile cross which is a little peppery and floral. The only thing is I have no experience with just top lighting but I was considering trying to bend over this top and tie it down!?? I'd really appreciate a little feedback on what the types of training are LST? The Mango Smile x Grape Crinkleberry is looking like she's back on track today and I will be moving her back to be with her sister "Big Bertha" aka Grape Crinkleberry. I'm not trying to overthink things I just want to utilize the new grow room and learn more LST options!?...."Big Bertha"(Grape Crinkleberry) Day 34 :cooldance:

Yeah, you can bend it over. To get it bent well there's a risk of breakage though if you bend it in half. Do you know how to soften the branch for bending? You'll get a shitload of colas and it definitely wouldn't grow into the light.

I've been told that you can gently use a little pair of needle nose pliers and soften up the area that you bend over and it's supposed to help out with breaking it and luckily I don't have a hardened stalk yet so it's actually pretty pliable and it's what I was thinking about doing! I forgot to post it but here's a quick pic of the Strawberry Cough Kushman's clone it's looking GREAT 👍🏻

She's looking way awesome! I think pinching with finger and thumb might be much safer. Needle noses would work but there's a risk of ripping the outer skin. I was thinking bend it in half but it'll look weird for a few days....

After thinking about it I'm more comfortable to bend her over... LoL but I didn't use pliers I just did it with my fingers and I can already tell what you mean it's like topping without near as much stress IMO ... hopefully she'll take it like a champ and now I can let the lowers catch up with the crazy growth I'd definitely top her next time just the Grape Crinkleberry with the stalk bent over!

So the Grape Crinkleberry is taking the LST of bending over the main cola and she's pushing the middle preflowers up now and it's been fun learning how to top or fim (HST) a plant or bending over the main stalk (LST) any who here's a couple shot's of her this morning
