Got a house lettuce as you call it never known what it was called myself, that was gifted to me as a baby like yours about 6 years ago. Left outside all year round, never transplanted and fed the occasional bit of runoff this is her now.

My kids gave me a few herbs for my birthday mate, so thought I'd experiment like you!

Kids were quite impressed yesterday as the "mother" plants they gave me are bloody huge now!
