GREAT QUESTION. Due to my ignorance, Im not sure. It was at the top of the main bud. I will take more pics and make sure. I was so shocked to see amber that I jumped straight to response mode.

That is really a stunted plant so maybe it is aging rapidly as well. Just keep an eye on it. It looks great just kinda bonsai like.

Will do. However, I must say that when someone like MOG pulls up a chair cuz u haven’t seen anything like this, I feel nervous and proud (in a weird way) At the same time.

I made the mistake of just trying LST without topping first. She resisted every step of the way and I kept applying the pressure. Once I decided to release her restraints, she started to “fill out”, but vertical growth stopped. I keep hoping that “tomorrow” will be the day she decides to stretch. (Never underestimate the power of denial).

I figured it was stunted without seeing a photo. But now you’ve posted a photo, I agree, what you have there is actually kind of amazing. I’ve also never seen anything like that because it looks incredibly healthy.

For reference my nuggets is close to 5’ tall.

You didn’t make a mistake by not topping though, you don’t need to top to perform LST. Not even sure if LST caused your issue. Could be a freak thing. But if you feel like a majority of your plants are getting stunted, maybe hold back a bit and let the plant tell you what it wants. Versus trying to make it do what you want. Or not. It’s all up to you.

Here is the latest pics this morning. Plant looks healthy, just ambers VERY early. Plant started off great and just stopped. Day 48.
