Amber at 47 days? Is this normal? Im looking for a night/sleep strain. This is 85/15 indica/sativa. I could really use some input here.

thx in advance.

You have made a good strain choice for good sleep.
I've spent the past 6+years looking for sleepy strains, and Strawberry Nuggets is on my keeper-strain list.

The earliest I've ever harvested one is around 10 weeks, and I recently harvested a Strawberry Nuggets at 11.5 weeks.

Something seems to be wrong with your plant for it to have amber trichomes at this point.
I'd let it go longer while keeping track of trichomes, and also how the plant looks.
Its growth should slow down, and it should eat less food when ready.

Partial harvest is also a possibility.

Most of the heads that are amber look a lot smaller or maybe damaged. Looks to be very cloudy as well, but that can sometimes show up in the lighting. I would just keep watching. Not all plants finish the same. So you might be finished at 63 days. I had a 24 carat that went 88 days and no amber. The plant was basically dead yet no amber. I always am at about 72 days on those as well.

My Nuggets is 75 days old today. She is pretty massive but probably has a couple weeks yet. Still has mostly clear, no amber. Still eating voraciously.

Is the plant stunted? Do you have a photo of the whole plant?

Plant is stunted. She didn’t like LST. IM going to disregard the current ambers and focus on the clears.

thx.

Yep, I topped and she took that like a breeze. But it was obvious she didn’t want to be tied down much. She’d bounce right back up. So I didn’t really. I just stretch her canopy as wide open as I can.

I, like an idiot, kept trying to impose my will. Looking forward to starting another.

You can see my Nuggets in my indoor grow thread. I’m totally blown away by it. Probably the most beautiful plant I’ve ever grown. I thought she would stay smaller, but she didn’t. Which is fine. Just makes tent space a little bit of a juggle.
