Mephisto Genetics Mephisto strains and amber trichomes

Hello all,
As i'm in 13 week of my first grow (iluminauto 27,23), i have almost all milky trichomes and the leaves are apparently dead also the fan leaves started yellowing.
My question is why is there no amber or so little amber, is this overall problem with autoflowering strains.
Also i have read here that some autoflower dont produce amber?
So when is the right time to chop then?

Sorry for this newbie question but is better to ask, than do mistakes.

Yea, some autos don't amber.
But if you have all milky trichs, that means plant is fully ripe and ready to chop.

On my Ripleys and AvT, I did not see amber until week 14.

I'm about to chop my first 4 mephisto's.. 2x DG and 2x SS, all at day 78. Finally started to show some amber.

Looks like creme bubbly is ready, all milky trichomes,with just little clear and even some amber.. i think to chop it in 1-2 days...

I'd say those are ready to chop. Looks like it might've suffered a little bit of heat stress (please correct me if I'm wrong guys), but given the general look of the flowers from the photos provided I'd say they're ready. If about 60-70% of the pistols are orange / red then I'd go for it.

Personally I use a Carson orb to tell when trichomes are ready. I see amber from time to time when I let them go a few extra weeks because I'm too lazy to chop 'em down.

Yes also i think to chop them, will let em go also tomorow and then chop it.
Pistils of cremebubly are 100% orange
Pistils of livers'n'chesse are 90%+ orange.

But also will want to ask when the strain isdying totally?, How i can know it, does this fucks up the thc?

My double grapes and NCH X sour hounds had amber. Took them down at day 65. Ran 24hrs under cobs.
