So I've started a new 6-plant grow and have opted to setup a battle between Megacrop vs. Nectar for the Gods.

The contenders are as follows (2 each):
  • Fugue State
  • Fanstasmo Express
  • Gold Glue

Soil blend:
  • 40% Nectar for the Gods [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG]
  • 40% Nectar for the Gods [HASHTAG]#8[/HASHTAG]
  • 20% Coir
  • Amended w/ 1 tbsp Root Naturally Azomite & 1 tbsp Mykos
All 6 germinated within 24 hrs and were placed into Root Riot plugs. Those have been placed into their final 3 gal pots at 48 hrs (Fugue State and Fantasmo = Radicle bags & Gold Glues = fabric bags).

Things are crowded of course, but the other grow will be finishing up fairly soon. Thanks again for the eyeballs and the comments.

nice selection of genetics :smoking:a lot of bags and bottles :coffee2: neat set up:thumbsup:
good luck n keep er lit.

Nectar nut here...Be very and I mean VERY careful using the BK.
Too much or too early, and it's like hitting the throttle on a dragster... with no fuel in the tank.

Make sure your medium is primed with calcium before starting it, and a 6 to 1 ratio hh to bk minimum... otherwise you'll see difficiancies all over. And keep your pH up with the nectar, under about 6.4 and the HH will just goo up your medium. SLF100 is a good add for the line.

Watching!

Thanks folks, so here's where I'm at - still waiting to see if the 2 Fugue State seedlings develop normally and only 1 Gold Glue is above ground. If they don't look better by tonight, I'll pop more. Both Fantasmos are read to rock.

@Arthur when do you start feeding NFTGs and at what strength (relative to the suggested for early veg)? And is there an alternative to SLF-100? Can't get it here for a couple of weeks. I have something called Green MicroBiotics given to me by a local shop - can't really find anything on it though https://www.greenmb.com/

So here are the seedlings - most are fine, not sure about others (never encountered issues like this). Not sure how long to wait to see if the struggling ones are worth the effort or just replace them - all were placed into Root Riots on Saturday 2/16 (and just surfaced dressed some of them and misted before photos)

Fugue State 1 - been like this since Sunday, no further progress.

Fugue State 2 looks a tad wonky - just came up overnight.

Gold Glue 1 - looks great

Gold Glue 2 - not so much. The seed shell came off during planting - might have injured it...not breaking through - anything to do? EDIT: I tore away at the hole (*shudder*) to expose the plant.

Cracking 3 new beans this morning to replace the struggling ones: 1 Gold Glue and 2 more Fugue State. It's likely that Fugue State didn't like the change in temps immediately post-germination and that it weakened them. Gold Glue is on me, probably damaged it during planting and it got stuck.

Given your in a blend of their soil, after a couple weeks should be fine to start feeding. 1/4 strength and easy up. Slf 100 only... not another product like it.

But you'll be fine for a couple weeks, your not overloading calcium too much yet. The SLF100 really shines in flower where your pumping 2 to 4 tablespoons of HH per gallon in.

Watch bringing in the BK, if you get too much or too early, you'll see what's called the BK claw. May look deficient, may look overfed...
If you run into issues tag me, I've found a few ways of dealing with things, like above can be settled with HH DD &AA...
I will say I like the line, but will add it requires a different level of dedication if you wanna push plants.

Thanks for the information. I've been watching the NftG videos and reading what I can find The SLF-100 is on its way. How often do you use it?

Also ordered Aphrodite's Extraction and will be using Recharge.

A little update - because of the problems I've had with seeds (lost 2 Fugue States), simply growing is now the battle. Everyone will be on the Nectar train, simpler that way for me. So the soil does seem a little hot, prior to any feeding some leaves look a tad crispy at the ends - just planning on walking that off.

The group now has the full tent...
