Thank you Mitch, that's great and useful info. And these I'm sprouting are F2 so.........I'm excited!

It depends the strain and genetic combination, we never saw males in an f1 generation for a long time, until recently, the sour livers and livers x auto blues f1 put a few out.
It's pretty simple, at f1 or f2 you'll see them starting to flower whilst on 24/0 lighting regime whilst everything else (non auto) keeps on vegging like a normal photoperiod would

In the f2 generation this is perfect and those are the ones you're looking for.
At f1, those aren't the ones I'm looking for as it seems the auto trait is too strong whereas it should be recessive , and we are looking for the specimines most like their photoperiod parents to work with.

Some of these strains look pretty frosty. I might have to try one. I am curious to see if I can get one to yield above five oz like I do other auto strains .

And thats what i was telling to a Forum Mate at Open Grow when he was Arguing bout Autos and too much Ruderalis Genes. I told Him that most Breeders just use Shortcuts either in selecting the Autogenes from the f1 or backcrossig the F1 to the Autoparent just to save Time. And that a Auto which is Bred on to f3-f4 is totaly diffrent than the Shortcut from the Same Strain.

the yeild was 99.8 grams
plant harvested 75 days from seed to weed
grown under 1200 watt mars II in coco being drip fed 6 times a day
advanced nutes coco grow and bloom big bud and overdrive never feeding higher than 1/4 strength
hard to describe the smell theres citrus lemony and to me any way an orange smell but something else i cant put my finger on

Hi, it's a mix of two bags. 1 part of B2 from Roots Organics (basically a seed-starting mix less hot than their standard mix with additional perlite). 1 part from the Constant Gardener in Eugene, also peat based, I think some coir, rock dust, Alaskan forest compost--was also intended to be light mix, low EC. I added a little more perlite when I mixed them, there is actually too much perlite in the mix I think.

The fabric pot is sitting in a rubbermaid tote, and is not sitting on top of anything so the bottom stays damped off, not ideal.
I use the Grow More Seagrow nutes, 16-16-16 and 4-26-26 as the primary nutes.

Here is my SODK.......i bent the main cola down when it reached a foot because it grew alot quickers it seems.......so i bent it down when it reached ab 12 or 13 inches.......this was germed on 8/27......so a day or two before entering its 7th week of life........still has a few weeks left.......hopefully she plumps up alot......looking great so far......very frosty
Grown in Fox Farms Ocean Forrest soil w ph'd rainwater to 5.6-5.8 and aeriated and h202 added every once in a while ..........using Iguana Juice Grow and Iguana Juice Bloom.......along w calmag........
Grown under an Advanced Platinum P300 LED Panel and also a mars hydro reflector 150 panel i had vertical along the side of it.....only had if for 2 weeks of the grow tho as the veg lights had an issue......light is sent off for repair as im posting. .....so i added a Floralux 150 HPS light im gonna put in a bottom corner for a diff type of light........hopefully itll help w yield as i expect my mars panel back in the next week or so........

Have a Deep Blue C going and Sour Crack on deck....so many strains
