Indoor Mephisto, HBSS - Two Tents Two different pot sizes

Hey Dark, man I was just about to pop a link to the journal on your page but you beat me to it :) Ill ease of the nute's a little thanks for the heads up with the info you provided my biggest headache is getting the correct amount of watering for the big pots the biggest ladies 80cm this morning and they are all growing every day which is great I know tang's monster UA that was 120cm on day 35 so I'm aiming for my 5 big ladies to be around 100cm mark and ill be happy I'm on track i had to tie the biggest one this morning as she starting to fall on her own weight always a good sign. ill pop over to your journal now to see how your getting on mate thanks for popping in and seeing how its going.

Lol don't compare grows with TaNg, that bredda isn't human when it comes to growing.

Yours are growing a different strain under a different light spectrum and technology (would love some of those Philips rebel upgrades for my ms0006)

They look really good and you're going to get a massive amount of lush hubbabubba goodness out of them.

Mine looks legit Ethiopian in comparison to yours!

See how this envy circle works now breh? Lol

Yea there's a lot of good lights out there, heard really good things about grow northern, KIND led, tasty Led and amare lights. It all depends on your price range. Tang has grown some monsters under 75w of grow northern Led.

Amare are using Cree cobs in their lights currently and there is some seriously good looking plants being grown under them on here at the moment!

Marty

I watched Tang grows with a keen eye the mans a legend think it was 550g dry of about 225W. I got a reasonable budget i can probably afford to go to the higher end off the market its just a matter of deciding what is best.

hi pal,

yest you have some nute burn there, but not too much to worry about. Your girls look healthy. Those Mephisto strains will handle it. I am a big fan. I bet come time for the smoke report, you will be too.
Happy growing my friend, eP.

Tangs grows are more something to aim for rather than compare yourself to thats for sure bro! Yours aren't far off my big ones mate and bigger than the ones in the smaller pots I'm just lucky i got shed load more light and space to use.

Okay guys I'm 30 days in, and its going pretty well from my observation and feedback off here. I like to kick on push them to their absolute limits, my question is given I got 5 ladies under more than enough light four 600 hps theres plenty of room for them what else can i do if anyone can make a suggestions i love to hear them - i.e super cropping - co 2 - maybe a more comprehensive watering schedule if anyone could give me some good guidelines on this i appreciate it,

I know to feel the pots and if they are light its time to water but i would like some more knowledge on watering amounts for size of plants and pot sizes - at the moment I'm giving the bigger pots about 1l every 12 hours but the pots are still light i got a feeling this is holding them back could I give them 3 watering a day say 2 of these with nutes and 1 with out to prevent burn ? this moment in time my rooms sitting around 26-28 degrees every now and again it pops to around 30 degrees but its not an issue my RH is around 31% and my circulation is good - with that in mind i think my environment is spot on - is there any room for improvement here fellas ?

P.S How far would you fellas recommend a 600hps sits off my ladies ?

Can anyone tell me about there experience with defoliating auto's i been researching all afternoon but most of the talk out there is related to photos - i read very good things a lot of seasoned pro swearing by it but is it safe to do with my autos ?

I do it all the time. Aslong as you're not ripping off the majority it's cool, take off a handful and you'll be gravy.

It's mostly recommended to tuck auto leaves out the way rather than pluck - but some have success with plucking.

I personally never do and only remove leaves when they're dead and come away very easily.
It's an ongoing debate, but over the years i see more people leaning towards not taking leaves.

I guess the science is that you don't have the recovery period on an auto that you do on a photo and any time repairing is time not growing.

I've seen plants turn out well after defoliation.

If your new to growing, i'd suggest it's easier and kinder to tuck them out the way rather than risk going all chop crazy :D

Okay fellas update time . Day 43 I had a bit of heat stress the past couple of days and some of the leaves turning in, there's a bit nute burn on the tips of the 5 big ladies leaves the 4 little ones got moved to my smaller room 3 days ago should really gone 10 days before that. All the big ladies are about 100- 105 cm tall from top of the pot to tip ( when giving measurements on your ladies do you give from the floor up or from the top of the soil/pot up? ) 2 of them are really packing on the bud all ready i'm quite surprised this is my first auto grow I didn't think I see so much joined up bud so early ( is this normal ? ) while the other 3 have a lot of bud sites but are no where near as compact with bud joining I guess these 3 are going to take a little longer to finish ?

Will the small amount of nute burn I have in my ladies tips be effecting the growth / bud production ?

As always
Kind regards
The pear
