Indoor Mephisto GWK (Grape Walker Kush) & AvT (Alien vs Triangle)

Update - Day 36 (26 for the small GWK)

The AvT is the furthest along in terms of flower development, followed close behind by the bottom right GWK.

A quick count puts total number of tops in the 130-140 range - not bad for an 8sf space. Let's see if that multi-topping strategy pays off!

Very solid - Great start to flower cycle!

How much light you running in that 2x4space?

2 - 288.2 boards with (LM301B diodes), 3000k with an 80 CRI. They run 120w per, nominal. I have them throttled at 100w per currently.

200 watts at present?

When we figure Watts per sq foot, do we use number light hours at X Watts plus flower light hours, etc?

And if figuring average yield square foot, is final flower space the number used?

Great question!

Tangent time - a 6-8 week flowering cycle on an auto is more like a 12-16 week flowering cycle on a photo, when taking into consideration light-hours and total watts used (assuming the auto is flowering in the 18-24/day range). In that respect, autos are terribly inefficient!

Back to your questions -

Watts per sq/ft is generally calculated excluding the duration component. Total watts / total sf. And it's generally sf of the grow space, not the area occupied by the plant.

For example -

I'm currently running 200w in an 8sf space, or an equivalent 25w/sf.

If I was to factor in the duration component, in this case an 18hr cycle, it would look like this - (18/24)*(200/8) = 18.75w/sf. This is the true measure of consumption averaged over a daily cycle.

Yield per sf is calculated generally the same - total yield / total sf.

If I hypothetically pull 300gr in my setup, I would have a yield average of 300/8 = 37.5gr/sf and an gr/w average of 300/200 = 1.5gr/w.

As you can see, it's not a fair comparison, you truly need to factor in the duration component to get a true representation of a particular setups efficacy, relative to a comparison (i.e.: your grow vs. my grow).

great bit of training there mate. Looking forward to watching those colas shoot up!! I have been waiting for a brill AVT grow. Would love the smoke report on it to. I have got 20 of them bad boys haha.

have a great day, peace and love. :vibes:

Thank you.

The training is out of necessity (height limitations) - AvT's got legs and she really wants to use them. While she's looking good, I think I'm limiting her potential.

The GWK's, and especially the SCH's, have really responded great to the aggressive training - tight nodes, tons of infill through secondaries, just perfect little bushes.

Stay tuned, tons of photos and a report to follow!

20! Niiice. Love large single strain runs (if that's even the plan?) If so, be sure to tag me.

You have a great one too mate, cheers!
