My heart wants my Sams Crack to be my Battle Plant SO bad [emoji29] I REALLY want to enter the unreleased strain over the others. But that’s just because I’ve put MORE work into trying to get a SC seed to pop the last entire month than any of my other seeds combined. So I am bound and determined to make it reality. It would just make me feel pretty proud and accomplished that I finally got her to grow! I’ve still got like 7 extra seeds Mephisto sent me as backups. Luckily we’ve got the dopest breeder who wants us to grow it just as bad [emoji1665]

week 1

Week 2 update. 4-Assed Monkeys. [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] and [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] are the originals, 23 days old, that I fried under my COBs. Surprisingly, they haven't died, but are only just now starting to awaken from their coma. I dropped a couple of replacement seeds a few days ago ... and now [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] is three days old, and [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] just about to emerge. :smoking:

Week 3 update. 4-Assed Monkeys. Not much progress since last week. The originals ([HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] and [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]) are still alive, barely. Of the replacements, only [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] made it. [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] started to emerge, but then stalled and is officially dead. Damping-off I suspect. :smoking:

Week 4 update. 4-Assed Monkeys. Lots of progress since last week. These 3 survivors are finally shaking off their abuse from a rough germ/sprout phase and actually starting to grow a bit. Miracles sometimes do happen.

Week 5 update and Plant-Pick.

I've got three 4 Assed Monkeys; I pick [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] going forward from here. :smoking: She's slow for her age (39 days), but that's because I fried her under my COBs shortly after sprouting - and it took a couple of weeks for her to decide to come out of the coma and start growing again.

Week 6 update, 4 Assed Monkey.

Week 7 update, 4 Assed Monkey. Standing at 18" she's doing real well - finally. Her near-death experience for the first couple of weeks took its toll. She's 57 days old, but with much less bud development and girth for that age. I'm just thrilled to have her coming along and being in position to actually finish with some respectability.

Week 8 update, 4 Assed Monkey ([HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]). No dramatic changes since last week. No additional vertical stretch, but no disease or nute lockouts either. So I'm happy.

Week 9 update, 4 Assed Monkey ([HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]).

Week 10 update, 4 Assed Monkey ([HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]).

Week 11 Update: Mephisto 4 Assed Monkey at 87 days. Lights still on 20/4. Temps: 78-80. RH: 49-50. Photo from a few angles.

I know this isn’t exactly the place for this, but, since we’re having a little friendly competition we might as well have some friendly conversation as well. Anyone ever use a heat mat for their germs? My germ record seems a little worse than most. Looking to see what I can do to improve it.

I looked at my calender wrong. But i only popped 1 mephisto seed for this comp, so theres no "choosing the better plant" advantage. Just the one deez nuggz. Whether it lives or dies.
Its in a 1 g with a shared rez of mega crop/bud explosion that im not doing by the book AT ALL. No ph pen. Tap water. Just a 1liter bottle and a 1/4 tsp for a scoop.
In other words, Dont worry too much, i wont win. [emoji23] im just in it for the fellowship of the plant

Ive found that sometimes the mephisto way takes 1 or 2 days, but sometimes it takes almost 5 or 6. My blue dream from another company took a full 6 days!!! But i got a plant and decent yield

18 hr soak is done and they are in paper towels in a cd case. Im converting a cupboard into a secondary grow space for more room. I got a H&Grow 1000 watt full spectrum led with UV & IR lights triple chip now I have to choose my grow spot the tried and true low level led box I already have or the more higher powered box Im building up that hasnt been tried out. 245 watts or 1000 watts!!!mmmmm Come on Amazon and get my light to me their is weed that needs grown!!!!

Shes had a rough week, over watering by the wife when I was out of town. Got fans drying out soil as we speak. Shes getting better. She was really clawed and dropping when I got in Sunday.

Update Week 3

Not happy with any of my girls. They are some what stunted in my opinion due to the early over watering. Oh, well...they will still give me something.

Yeah, I had a Auto Cush take almost a full 6 days to crack, glad I held out. She grew into a really nice plant!
