If you haven't supercropped before, go slow and be careful. From what I understand SC is actually breaking the walls of the stem to bend it over 90 degrees. Please someone tell me if I am wrong. I have done it, but usually by accident. I'm 50/50 on if I should do it on purpose.

Squeeze between your fingers with both hands, firmly twist until you hear a gentle crack and the branch will literally bend over itself... Try it with one branch and then weigh it against another similar one at havest... if you did it right, you'll increase your yield by at least 1/3..

Not necessarily bent 90 degrees though. I do a lighter stress form on some my outdoor plants, which is just a light crushing twist between the forefinger and the thumb. You can feel and sometimes hear the crush. Doing it this way the shoots don't droop, but the wound is still caused, creating a knuckle. Redirection using super cropping is great too I have found. For me its a relatively new technique but I am having some great results though experimentation.

Very well said. I do the 90 degree hard bend on branches and stem at about 20 or so, over a seven day period or less, each time the Mephisto's I've tried didn't even blink... 2 hours later the branches and leaves had done the u turn back towards the light... My first one was a Supernatural OG and I bagged 5 oz.

What I really like is how it allows me to maximize the light... no shadows and an even playing field. I combine this with leaf stripping later (in flower) and get fantastic results. I'm doing it with a SODK right now because there's a lot of traditional grows on record so I've got some great data to compare with... ;)

Best and easiest way to max your yield and led's imho...

Oh yes... there's tons of videos on how to do this... search on youtube... what's so special about the bend or damaging is that it takes the circulatory system of the plant from '2 lane road' to 'Superhigway'... Your roots will go mad, branches and trunk will swell, knuckles will form and the plant will ask for tons of liquid... the branches will ultimately hold the huge tops up without need for support... can't get better than this... one and done... imho of course...

But don't listen to me... watch all the videos and try it!

Thanks, I have just started defoliation on an extremely leafy outdoor Frisian dew to check results. Shes only 3.5 feet high but she has a 24foot outer perimeter and is flowering nice.(defoliation is something else I hve been tampering with)

Yes... I use it in all my gardens canna and other... taking away leaves to expose buds... with these I start at about two to three weeks and take a leaf or two and then the imp branch at the bottom... hardens them up... after that, when they get older, they'll take a lot of abuse not otherwise tolerated by an unhardened plant...
