Three started and three popped.

These will grow in 2.5 gallon hempy buckets under an LEC 315 ceramic metal halide in a small 36x20x66" tent.

I'll be using GH maxibloom with RO water as the base nutes and will probably use a small amount of GH calmag, GH micro, GH liquid Koolbloom and GH dry Koolbloom.

Seeds were started in rapid rooters with RO water. They soaked in a shotglass over my VCR for 20 hours and then transferred to rapid rooters with temps between 72 and 80 degrees. They've been given water twice a day.

The hempy buckets will be 2,5 gallon and will have a base of 2 inches of hydroton and the rest filled with coco.

I've got two Mephisto Toof X ripley going in hempies now and they are doing very well, indeed.

Looking nice dude, you moved away from aeroponics for now?

Yes. I'm afraid that just wasn't working for my space. It started plants too high, which caused me light burn issues in virtually every grow. Funny thing is my last grow was 5 big Buddha blue cheese and 5 sour crack. The sour crack being so short, they actually out produced the airy and very dedicated looking BBBC.

And the plants I was growing in the "excess light" in hempies we're getting huge and lush with no stretch at all.

So big lessons learned.

1. Those California Lightworks solar storm 440's actually DO need to be 3-6 feet away from vegging pkants. They're so powerful that I've been vastly underutilizing my space.

2. Hempy buckets are a lot more work than the aero unit. BUT..... The plants feckin' love 'em. And I can grow plants up to around 45 inches tall in the same space. (30 inches was too big).

3. The ability to move plants around and run a perpetual harvest plan really suits the hell out if me.

Mostly my game plan with these revelations. Will be to run mostly mephisto's, starting plants every three weeks. And maybe a photo flowering once in a while, growing out some larger plants.

Sounds good, glad you found a set up that suits you. Good luck, ill be tagging along
Thanks. I feel like it has been a watershed moment. I'm really excited about growing more and bigger plants in the same space. Plus no pumps and air stones and water chillers running all the time.

And my plants never looked happier. So far, so good. Oh yeah..... Tomatoes, too.
