It didn't take long once I had stumbled upon AFN to notice a name repeated often. At times it felt like every post.
It was hard to make sense of the names at first....Alien vs Triangle, Man Bear Alien Pig, Hubbabubbasmelloscope, etc...but they sounded fun. And the frost covered buds that graced these posts almost didn't seem real.
I think I held off for close to a month before finally breaking down and placing an order. I know it was late at night and I was surely at least a few puffs in...and not really knowing exactly I was looking for, however this is what I managed to walk away with.

When I saw the upcoming battles approaching I knew I had to get in on the fun. With so many talented growers on this site the goal is not to win but to make it to the finish line with something I'm proud of.
To germ for this grow I used the toilet paper in the CD case method. After 48hrs they had popped and were ready to get planted.
Within 18hrs both the FC and 3BOG we're above soil and ready for rays.
The below photos were from 2 days ago which was day 5 from sprout.
The addition of 30% coco to the Promix is something I haven't tried yet. The thought was to create an even better draining medium without committing all the way to coco.
The FC is plowing right along and is the biggest seedling in the tent at the moment. The 3BOG was quite light so it got a light feed 2 days ago and the colour has improved. The leaf shape is a bit rough as well so I'll be keeping an eye on her.
