Amazon sells a kit with storage, pH7, and pH4 solutions for testing and storage. Atlas Scientific is the brand. I keep the meter in the solution and calibrate every two weeks or so. So easy and it keeps your meter running nice and you know it’s reasonably accurate.

Thanks Will!

Hey now!
Update time. Finally looking like a contender, here is Blue Toof and AVT special pheno. I have been feeding them every three days using NTFG Roman regimen, early veg, full strength along with the usual crew of benes, photosynthesis plus, MammothP, Recharge and Slf-100 of course!

One thing I notice is the main stems are really thick. BT is thicker than a [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] Pencil!

Mephisto Comp Weekly update 2/23/18 @wwwillie @Ripper

Sorry for my bad photography. Have to shoot with flash during lights off in tent to avoid the HPS gold tint, and my girls are on a table, so not much headroom to get all in a shot from above. They all just woke up (lights haven't come on yet and it was 66F temp), so they look a little droopy.

We reconfigured our tent intake and exhaust lines, added a second 1000w HPS light, and have been able to get temps down from high 80sF. We are now running high 70sF to low-mid 80sF during the day and mid-high 60sF to low 70sF at night. RH ranges from as low as 30% to as high as 50%. Not terribly worried about humidity. Been checking the soil pH with my CWP Accurate 8 and it's running between 6-7 pH. Using a mix of half well water and half RO water which generally doesn't require pH balancing and brings down the PPM of my well water to around 100. Using Mephisto soil amendment mixed with Roots Organics Original in bottom of 3 gal airpots and just Roots Original on top. Water only plus recharge once a week, planning on adding Mammoth P during flower.

Most of girls in pre-flower, a couple I think early flowering. Last week I had topped my Solo cup girl Sour Livers and she is really bushing up, but she is clearly struggling some in that cup. Light in color. Nitrogen deficiency? Still learning. Still toying with bailing on the Solo comp and transplanting her. Still need to transplant my stunted Cosmic queen (today as I have 4 other even younger gals to transplant). Yesterday topped Samsquanch and Creme de la Chem. Going to leave the others alone, except I would like to start some LST on at least some of them. Problem is, don't know what I am doing with LST. Will figure it out with some research/help.

Only one more note: my two 4 Assed Monkeys (one older than the other) seem to be different phenotypes it appears? One more squat and bushy, one more open and lanky. I have no clue at this point which of these 7 plants I will choose to move on with in the competition. Will decide last minute. That's the update. Sorry it's a book lol.

Here are a few photos. From front center left clockwise: Sour Livers Solo Cup (31 days), 4 Assed Monkey [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] (20 days), 4 Assed Monkey [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] (31 days), Creme dl Chem (20 days). Samsquanch (20 days), Trident Special (20 days), little Cosmic Queen (20 days).

Weekly update
Day 26
PH 6.2
EC 1.3
Hey master growers!
This will be my last update before I go skiing tomorrow morning and my girls will be left for a week by themselves.
SOL looks more like a lettuce at the moment and is becoming a real bush but under those fan leaves there is a lot of growth happening so I am hoping she is really going to stretch out now over the next week or so
Skywalker is getting there but unfortunately I will have to discount her from the comp as I need to choose today.
Have a great week guys and I look forward to seeing everybody's progress when I return!
