Lighting Meizhi 300w cob?

I'm using a 600w cob right now. Was between that and the one you got. Ill need another light soon, so please update how you're liking that light.

Hey yeh i was going to go with the meizhi 600 cob,not many reviews on that light but from what i can see,and the little reviews there is,its on the more red spectrum type of light, the mars ts and sp series have more of a wider range of spectrum blues greens reds etc...but personally for what it is as im a electrician its way over priced, the epistar leds are cool white, warm white with red ir thrown in,the light itself would of probably cost mars around just under 100 to make..but overall its going ok,awsome growth,it has a wider spread than the meizhi that is a pain in the ass because its not directing the light straight down more to the sides im going to do a comparison against my high output t5 setup...i will post a few pics of my plants in my grow journal in a few days...have a look if you want.

thanks for the reply/info. The light spread doesn't sound so good. Maybe you can make a reflector to attach to the sides? It sucks that you would have to actually do that, but if it works and helps put more of your light where it needs to be might be worth the hassle, just a thought.
I'll take a look at your journal for sure. Take a look at mine if you get a chance. On day 18, and starting to see growth, on half of them, unfortunately the others seem to be lagging behind.
