MEGA CROP 2.0 750g free sample promo

Instead of weighing, I use actual measuring spoons. Stopping to weigh it just means more dust in the air. Rather than measure twice, I add enough to make the solution stronger than needed then dilute with more RO water.

Its an interesting concept, let me comment on it.
Specialized pills would just be prohibitively expensive.........

I doubt it. The pharma- and nutraceutical industries knock out 'pills' and other dosage forms at a cost of fractions of a penny per dose, even just small production runs, with a large number of contractors specializing in dosage formation and packaging (having the right machines). Even if this somehow incredibly costs you a few cents per 'pill' or 'tea bag,' if sold by the 100, that just adds a few dollars cost per sale. With MC so underpriced, even if at 2x-3x the cost, I presume it would still be very cost-effective vs. liquid nutes.

Keep in mind that you could expand your market by selling MC in say 1, 5, 10, 50 gram or other soluble pre-weighed format. Many more would adopt MC if there were no need to both handle and weigh powder every time you want to use it.

It seems that you selected your current bags for simplicity and low cost. But as others have noted, they are about the worst air/water-tight packaging available for powders.

Hey @ColoradoDreaming420 seems like just weighing what you need would be easy for large amounts....e.g. If you need to set up 50 gallons.......just weigh out 250Gms and mix.....level scoop hold 5Gms....so for a 5Gm/gal mix you would need 5Gm x 50 add....so 250Gm/50 gals. You guys may have already figured this out but I thought I'd stick my 2 cents in! I am wrong!......one scoop doesn't equal 5Gms.....One teaspoon does! I apologize for the error! I tablespoon equals 3 teaspoons and 16 tablespoons to a cup which will give you roughly 240-250Gms. Mix with your 50 gallons to get a ratio of 5Gms/gal. Again i apologize for the error and I hope this helps you do your nutes faster!
lol your fine mate. I have all my measurements figured in. I only have a 20 gal tank and currently use MC at 4.5 grams/gal so roughly 90 grams of MC. pretty easy to weigh out and toss in. I love this product compared to Canna's liquid line .

Bought the 10 kilo bag
Fits in 4 airtight half gallon mason jars with silica pack to store out of light. Fill a flip lid mason jar for daily use in the grow room. Add scoops directly to my DWC without any weighing or hassle, powder nutrients are the standard in the horticulture industry and have been for ages. I’ve been adding 50lb bags to dilution tanks since I was 13 working at a commercial flower operation.
Keep the product cheap and easy.

Do you put a silica pack in the jars with thr powder? I guess to keep the moisture out and than just store it in a dark area?

I get very good potency/quality with average yield in a small tent. I'm using AutoCOBS with Air-Pots with coco/perlite, feeding MegaCrop v2 at 4.25 g/gallon (1.13 g/L) usually with 1/2-dose P-K supplement (Canna PK 13/14), with all plants getting this, including those in veg. phase. I don't bother to check or adjust pH, and am using MD/DC (Mid-Atlantic US) area tap water. So far, I have not been adding any Ca/Mg supplements for about 1.5 months with most plants in mid-late bloom. And about 1/2-time I will also add 1/2-dose B-52, kelp extract, maybe just a touch of Ancient Earth (humic/fulvic acids), and of course beneficial microbes.

I haven't seen any deficiencies, excesses or lock-outs since switching to MC about when it first came out, multiple grows now. MegaCrop is so good, tailored to our plants, that it allows me to get very good results despite sometimes being a lazy grower. What more could one ask for? Best of all, MC is essentially free for small-time users.

Suggestion for Greenleaf Nutrients: Consider alternative product formats, in particular pre-weighed options - get rid of either weighing or measuring the powder. For example, the clumps I get in MC suggest that the powder, with the right inert soluble binder agent if needed, could be compressed/formed into say 1 gram 'pills.' Or how how about compressed as 10 g rods with scoring to make dosing as simple as using the marks or otherwise measuring length.

I like that idea. I’ve been cheating a bit. I cut parchment paper into small foldable pouches. Weigh the fert and place in pouches and then placed in mason jars to keep moisture away. I’ve got my next 2 feedings packed away.

I used the free bag with nothing else and still done fine. This previous grow was first with full line minus gravity stuff.

Same here with one exception. Adding 1 gram of their BE to 4 grams of MC 2.0 to see if there is a benefit to adding. I see no difference so far. All others enjoying 5 grams / gallon of MC 2.0.
