Lighting MedGrower does HS1 grow - Mazar (Photosensitive / DWC)

Bleached color is due lack of light and maybe already some nutes. If you did lowered your lights - color will be good. Plants are bit stretchy, but eventually they wil be good :)

Yeah, I had my lights about 40cm from the plants, they may be actually more like 35cm. I am going to raise the amount of nutes to have 0.7 EC at the weekend. Would this be enough of a raise from 0.5? You said that having the HS1 closer will give the plant higher metabolism and make it require more. Could these youngsters really already need more nutes? Wow, I am amazed!

I am going to give an update on weekend after I've pimped out the growroom and given a new feed. I am going to bubble the plain water first for a day and then put the nutes in.. Just Canna Aqua Vega, Rhizotonic, Cannazyme, Silicone and some Diamond Nectar for now.

New growth can be a little pale at this stage but will darken,it could be to light a feed so try a little higher EC, if you edge it up slowly and watch the plant you will find the sweet spot.

Bro, more light - faster metabolism, bigger appetite. Yes, they are already a bit hungry for nutes, 11 days is enough for starting real veg :) Give em small amount of nutes, jus take your nutes and put 50% of recommended amount to your tank and wait 3 days. After 3 days you will see if your plants like it or not. Cannabis has a hunger for nutes, best way is to keep it just on the top level, slight overdose is also not so bad, especially in hydro. You could add plain water any time to lower ppm, if you see that leaves are too dark / leave tips are burnt or other symptoms of overdosing. One thing is for sure - they will not be happy for a long time with plain water, they need micro elements to build mass :)
Also could you take photos of roots? Interesting, how many are there and is plant capable of starting to get nutes.

Yeah guys! I will go and add some more nutes just soon. I will take pics of the roots later when I have time. Right now I am Oscar Mike again :) Mostly they have just reached to the water and began the splitting up part. Thanks so much for giving me feedback early on.

DAY 12

EC 0.6 (it rose from 0.5, i bet it was on the edge between 0.5 and 0.6)
pH 6.2 (had to correct it from 6.3)
RH 55

Both girls looks a bit pale in the pictures. They look bit darker just naturally looking them. Anyway I think it is nitrogen time. I am preparing water to be fed tomorrow for these babies, upping the feed by 0.2. I see that adding 4ml per litre of Rhizotonic did improve the early root formation some and I would like to promote that even further. For the next week though I should drop the rhizotonic to 2ml per litre, if I copy with SB has been doing and since he knows his stuff I would trust that.

Root system (Rightie)
Taking a shot with one hand holding the DWC lid up and another holding my heavy system camera with all the bells and whisles I have to operate in a rather low light enviroment (I turned the HS1 off for the photos ofcourse) and long exposuretimes proved too hard for my photoshooting skills to manage. I would need like 3 to 4 arms to do this, LOL.

This one was the best I could do and I think you can get a fair look on how the roots are doing:

Good to see the getting nice color :)
Box walls still dark, bro, you're losing precious light every second... Give it to your babies, not dark walls...

Yeah man I have been too busy to take a trip to the garden store. I only have couple hours of free time between my work and sleep on these weekdays and that goes with my family. Tomorrow I have a day off and plenty of time and the babies will get more ligth from their sides too :)

DAY 13 update

There! I finally had time to go my local store and got some supplies to pimp up my grow cabinet. I did get ORCA Grow film and installed that to the walls, how you liking it now Marimar? I still have the lights about 37cm away from the plants.

I also made some 5 cm holes to the side with a circular drillblade. I am planning on installing some kind of passive air intake with HEPA -filtering to address the flying cat fur -problem I've been having. Buds and catfur seems to be really fond of each other.

Girls seems to perk up day by day! Today I added new feed and the details of it are:

Feed:

21 litres water change (starting EC of the water 0.1)

EC 0,7
pH 6.2
RH 58
Temperature: 29.1 C / 27.4 C (DAY / NIGHT) = DIF 1.7

Canna Aqua Vega 24ml (approx. 1 ml/l)
Canna Rhizotonic 42ml (2 ml/l)
Canna Cannazyme 45ml (approx. 2 ml/l)
Essentials+ Silicone 60ml (approx. 3 ml/l)
GHE Diamond Nectar 30ml (approx. 1,5 ml/l)

I am planning on upping the feed to EC 1.0 next weekend if everything goes as it should. For now just monitoring the pH and EC levels daily. How does it sound to you TaNg if I go and top these babies after 4th node and trigger the flowering around 30 days? Might it be wise to just be bold and bend these babies to a net when they start to strech after the topping?

Updated cabinet: (in case you are wondering, I am using the horizontal green string to adjust the depth of HS1 in the cabinet so it can be centered)
