Indoor McB's Flash Seeds Grow: Chaze + Santa

Your plants look a little pale in colour, do they need a bit more nitogen?

Hi Dingo.
I have found my ph bordering on too high(6.8)
so i have adjusted my water and feed ph to 6.0 in efforts to bring this down gradually and not nuke my plants with the locked out nutes currently in the soil.
I find the Santa's are much more sensitive to PH and deficiencies.
I have ordered the GHE range, should arrive by the weekend, will do full 5.5 plain water flush and begin the ghe feedings once the pots dry out slightly.

I have 2 Santa's @ 9 days old and they too look bleached but slowly looking better. My PH is a tad too high too and I am trying to bring the PH down like you.
I am also feeding them some clone foilage spray to feed the missing and much needed nutes. The spray is generally used to feed new clones that do not have any roots yet and the clone spray feeds the plant until the roots are developed.
The hydro guy says it helps seedlings to develop more in the early stage of growth.

Sounds like "no wilt",not sure myself.
Pretty sure the biggest santa has hermied :(
maybe just wierd bud growth and im mistaking calyx's for nanners.
I have given them an organic veg nute called seagrow, but im doubting it,and my cheapy ph testers results of late.
soil measure 6.8 before,i water with 6.0 water,let soak and measure again...6.8...wtf?

Hey All
Soil Bags are on the way out, after an entire day outside they are still wet at the bottom and smelling like rotting fish guts.
I have bought 25l buckets and will replace the OUTER pots with them tonight.
I checked this weekend and rooting to the outer pots is minimal as yet so i may be able to minimize damage and or stunting.
So...onwards we now have solid sided, properly draining pots and my GHE nutes should arrive in time for the next feeding.
Having a slight issue with fungus gnats of late,so will be neem'ing the pots with transplant this evening

Bloody buckets dont fit in my cab,so i have narrow pots for outdoors...what a waste, will keep one or two for dwc and repurpose the others
Good news
Some updates on the chaze...im sure these things have grown!

Still battling PH,drops at feeding, back at 7 a day later.
going to topfil some dolomite lime for the long haul and drop ph of the watering
Definate growth from the stronger seagrow feed tho, also did hit them with some epsom
lower leaves are looking shitty, but as is my norm i feed them to fans and they bare the brunt of the ph issue.
new growth looks better on most

Some proper pics of the veg cab, still needs so wiring redone after the change and a fan or two mounted, but temps are perfect and the plants look happy

Dude, IMHO, your lights are way too high above your plants. Put them down within 3 inches from the tops and I guarrantee you that them MJ females will grow like mudderfookers (I'd supercrop that tall bitch if I wuz u). Also, crowd those bitches close together right under the lights. You are losing alot of production becuase your lights are waaaaaaay too far away.

Also, IMHO, go down to Home Depot and get yo'sef sum proper chains to hang that t5 fixture - cut the end with some diagonal cutters (wire cutters) links to make proper hooks. It is alot easier to raise the lights an inch a day (as the plants grow) if you are using chains.

Hi Bonzo
Thanks for the repeated input.
No T5's in use,all 45w cool whites and 20w cool whites,seedling runs on 2x32w round t5's tho
will drop lights a bit,but they are at about 10cm(4") as is.
Have actually ordered light hangers, will replace chains when in use.
The loose hanging cfl's will all be put into a lightshield once i finish it.
large side gets 3X20w extra(in middle of cab currently) and smaller side gets 2X45w cools and 2X20w warms to balance spectrum
Work has stepped up and dropped a specialist position in front of me,so my focus has shifted slightly, just dont get around to finalising the shields.
Just need to remeasure and rivet, probably take me an hour for both, will download a quick plan and get started again
