Double Grape showing issues on new growth.
- Coco plus perlite
- Gaia Green Nutrients
- Tap water that’s been dechlorinated
- PH 6.3 to 6.8 going into the pot.
- 3 gallon grow pots that actually have only 2 gallons of medium.
-18-6 light schedule
-Mars Hydro TS600 (waiting on new light from Ac infinity).
- Light is 2 feet away.
Temp is steady at 75 F with a 60 percent humidity.
- Night time temp is 70 F with 55 humidity.
- Just recently discovered that the light still illuminats during the dark period. Weird….
- Plant is 22 days old and just top dressed with 3 TBSP 4-4-4 and 3 TBSP 2-8-4
- Just started LST

I have not yet tested runoff. Waiting on a soil ph tester

Sounds like you are treating coco like soil. Coco is not soil, it is a soilless hydroponic medium and requires a different approach.

This is a great website, it contains all the info you need. You should also not be mixing dry amendments and liquid fertilizer in coco. It is possible to use dry amendments in coco, but it is really intended to be used with and usually work best with salt based nutrients.

Welcome to AFN!
As they have said - also maybe look at adding Calmag to the plants diet.
also at 22 days in cocowith no food - with coco you must feed from day 1 as it is inert, start small and increase as you go along. When using coco or cubes the easiest way to look at it is you are growing on a blank sheet, you have to add absolutely everything the plan requires.

there are some exceptional coco growers on here, maybe start a diary and you will get support along the way for sure

As stated, coco is not soil.

The pH in coco needs to be between 5.8-6.2, if you are running all the way up to 6.8 you will have trouble. Water to runoff every time. Get at least 20% runoff volume.

Example: Water in - 1000ml, you should get 200ml of runoff.
I am going to do that today. It’s about to go into its 6 hours of dark. After it wakes up going to water like you said and add some microbes to the water. Thanks for the reply.

It’s a new-ish company I found on Amazon. I just started two new girls using Coast of Main Stonington blend.

I am going to start a grow diary as you said. Thank you for the information. I am sure I am making this harder for myself than need be.
