One of the frosty lowers on the Spotless Mind
It may not be an issue for you but a 90 degree bend in an exhaust system will reduce its efficiency dramatically and will increase noise.I started the reconfiguration of the tent. I moved the in-line fan and charcol scrubber outside of the tent and added a new section of tubing. I was trying to figure out how I was going to mount it to the wall and set the unit down on the ground for a minute and it hit me… shit I’ll just set it on the floor like this that way it would be very simple to service if needed.
I may redo the tent outlet so that it’s more up and outside the tent. (See pics) I ordered a noise dampening clamp from AC Infinity to go between the scrubber and fan and another 6” oscillating fan. Just waiting on the lighting to arrive in a few weeks.View attachment 1571122View attachment 1571123View attachment 1571124
I’m testing the lighting and at 100% veg & flower spectrums with no humidifier it was running at 80F and 38% humidity. The in-line is setup on auto and seemed to do a good job venting off the heat. I lowered the T/H probe to around 4ft off the floor to see how it runs for a day without pots or soil or added humidity. It’s a great point I didn’t think about and each run is a different learning adventure. It may not be an issue for you but a 90 degree bend in an exhaust system will reduce its efficiency dramatically and will increase noise.
