Hello Tina,
not a Mars customer yet. Just starting out. Reading up on new things and trying out new ideas from the good people here at AFN. Just wanted to say Hello.

Hello, I am considering making the change to led pretty soon and I have been reading up on your lights. Seems to be a decent product and I think I want to give them a try. In the above photo is one of my rooms I would like to try them in. The net frame "grow area" is 7x10 and I would like your recommendation for which lights and how many you think I would need. After that I will contact you for cost. I am currently running 4 1000w hoods and it's overkill. UC recommends 4 600watt lights. I have an idea that maybe 4 of the mars11 1200w might work but let me know what you think. Anyone can pitch in here also just getting some ideas thanks

I noticed my Mars II 900W light has 5 LEDs not working.
At what point is there a noticeable performance drop? 10? 15? 20?
What is the procedure for replacing burnt out LEDs?

Hey Shred can we get a pic of lights on. Reason i ask is i think you may be mistaken the IR bulbs as burnt out diodes.

IR is not able to be seen with the human eye so thats why they may appear out.

Ok so lets see the 1200w have a coverage of 4.6x4.6ft. Id say 4 would deff get the Job done

Also i think 3-4 of the 144x3w Reflector would do justice to. As those have a coverage of 6.6x2.2ft.

Hello ThinkDifferent. Thanks for stopping by. For your space, I would suggest you use four 1200w light, the actuall draw power is around 2400watt, and coverage is 9.2x9.2 :tiphat: You can add a small 48x3w or UFO light to get the corner covered as well. :d5: PM me when you are ready to order.
