I'm not sure what's more shocking. The fact they have and collected over 2.7 billion user records containing wifi passwords and IP addresses, or the fact they didn't even bother to protect the data with even a simple password.

At Mars Hydro, the security of our customers' data is a top priority. We were recently alerted to a security issue by cybersecurity researcher Jeremiah Fowler and the vpnMentor team. We’d like to thank them for bringing this to our attention, which allowed us to quickly and effectively address the issue.

Once we became aware of the situation, we took immediate action and implemented the following measures:

Firewall Update to enhance network security
Database Two-Factor Authentication to safeguard sensitive information

These steps have fully resolved the issue, and we remain committed to ensuring the continued security of our customers' data. We will continue to strengthen our security measures moving forward.

At Mars Hydro, the security of our customers' data is a top priority.

Customer data security was not existant. I guess we are lucky you weren't storing payment and credit card numbers.

Still, why are you guys collecting IP addresses and wifi passwords?

Why are you storing my wifi password and ip?

Guess i'm lucky I didn't use your app yet. This sort of thing makes me salty as fuck towards a company.
