Which one did you get? The greenhouse or red version?
It's been a great light at a little over 4 1/2 years now. Hopefully they've improved the dimmer switch.

Perfect little light for a 2 by 4 tent

This one has 4 fixed dimmer positions, 25,50,75 and 100% click selector rather than potentiometer. Its different from my other MH dimmers.

SP3000 arrived. It included a free Wi-Fi dongle, but I'm using a mechanical timer, so that's being saved for the future.

I had 2 150w groplanner lights here previously, and one failed so I bought this single 300w light to replace the both.

300w is 300w, right? Apparently not.

I had been running the 150's full, and adjusting the height to get correct DLI, so after putting the SP3000 at the same height I of course set it to 100%

Much to my shock on taking a reading, 90DLI. I've lowered the dimmer to 50%

If I can find my DVM I'd love to compare power consumption vs output, but clearly this is more efficient.
