Same. Really hoping by about my 3rd or 4th harvest I'll have amassed enough personal smoke, and saved enough from not having bought weed or materials for several months on end we'll see. But yeah I either need that FC 4800, or get a nicer but smaller tent and get the FC 3000

4800 for me it’s the diode count. 2070 for the 4800 and only like 782 or something for the 3000. Probably why in the one YouTube video the diodes got to max temp.

Maybe 982 idk it’s in the video to me worth the little extra for the 4800

4800 for me it’s the diode count. 2070 for the 4800 and only like 782 or something for the 3000. Probably why in the one YouTube video the diodes got to max temp.

Correct!
FC3000 is 300w, with 792diodes, about 0.37w/pc, the coverage for 3'x3' flower area,
FC4800 is 480w, with 2070diodes, about 0.23w/pc, the coverage for 4'x4' flower area.
More efficient at producing light when less power is run through diodes, the lifespan also will be longer
