I am hoping to be one of the few independents that remain as the big farms begin to take over so I am walking the line as straight as possible hoping for the best when things change. I see maybe 2 more good years before things go south for small farms in Michigan

@FullDuplex has better insight into Washington's market; I know there are some woes and gripes there with how the licensing changed with the farmers there too.

Yea I've been watching Oregon and Colorado as Michigan seems to be slowly adopting very similar laws. Fucked up thing is the state of Michigan says there ar 2 ways to obtain rec cannabis within the state. Grow your own or ask a friend with a med card to hit a dispo for you. Isn't that drug dealing? Not complaining cuz dispos are flying through product just makes me wonder what the future will bring.

Give it some time, you'll see reproductions and authentic popping up as the black/grey market and legit companies just beat the system by setting up "shop" and shop lol. There will be movies about the revolt where everyone just drops cannabis seeds everywhere. It ends with a mime looking at a sunset with the caption "and that was the summer of the great pollination."

I hear ya there! I believe alot are breedinf out good cannibinoids too. Until recently i thought it was rhe plan to eliminate all seeds..but people on this site seemed to put up some middle fingers because colloidal silver seems to do the trick on getting more seeds. When this government gets involved theres gonna be problems. I hope my vision of the future is wrong.

They are already pollinating the weed in southern Ontario by air with hemp pollen. the feds.

Yeah they are potentially changing the laws here allowing the smaller farms the ability to compete. They are proposing that they extend the canopies of tier 1 and then allowing to sell direct to patient. Kinda like a macro/micro brewery. If it passes it’ll make things a bit more balanced up here. Homegrow is still a shit show.
