I heard that the price of the cannabis has increased to over 2000USD a pound, is that true?

Roundabouts where i live in the states it can run up to 3000-3200 for a lb of good green!
1 of many reasons im trying to grow my own!

Heck idk. Around here its well over that. Where we talking pounds from.part of country? Id say here cheapest your getting is 2700. And its not even worth it cuz everyone turns the good stuff in concentrates. There was better cannabis arouns here 10 years ago than now. Prolly 3 grand for grade A. If its even grade A.

I think dispensaries are paying around $900/lb here in Colorado right now, and I think they said that was the highest it's been in awhile. We had a bit of a flower shortage in the state lol.

Thats crazy a shortage? Is it cuz all the concentrates being made lol. I also heard washington has so much cannabis that they could stop growing for 5 years. Truth to it?

Washington grows by canopy space (and I think they have a large amount of licenses,) whereas Colorado grows by plant count. I'm really curious to see some side-by-side numbers of plant vs square/cubic footage in weight, kind of an interesting metric.

Now you still have to be a licensed cultivator to sell to them though, right? Is it a pretty tight system in Michigan?

I've been following Missouri's legalization, it's been pretty awesome. Really cool to see all these new people going "yay, we can grow at home legally" haha! And the information! And the misinformation! It's like a time warp man!

No. But if you have 5 or less plants its only a maximum of 200 dollar fine. They want them tax dollas. Medical patients cant even grow lol. Basically all illinois done is said hey you can buy the tax weed but dont get caught smoking a one hitter cuz your getting a dui and all public places its still illegal. Nothings changed. Potheads still got to svoid the law and duis and gotta peak around the corner make sure someone aint watching you take a puff unless its inside but that aint no different than now.
