I've had my Mars II 1600W unit running 24/7 for almost a year solid and only now have had my first issue with some burnt out diodes. I sent one e-mail to Mars explaining the problem; they apologized and explained to me why (a known issue,) they asked if I was technical enough to solder (and I am) and offered to send me the replacements to try fixing myself, since I'm currently using the light still (it works just fine in both veg/bloom, just a few burnt/blown diodes.) No other questions asked, they send the replacement parts and they just arrived YESTERDAY :d5:

If I can't get it to work, they offered to send me a postage label to send it in for repair. So far I'm more than satisfied with how it's being handled

I'm not sure where you are getting your information from, jmayes, but next time try the source
Thanks SoH for the clarification for us. :bighug:Really appreciated. :) We will keep doing the good job with all your support. :d5:

Alright, so instead of reading through 209 pages of dialogue... Can anyone recommend which Mars to run in a 4'x4' tent? I'm wondering if the Mars 1200 would be sufficient enough, or if I would truly need the 1600.
Mars II 1600 will be the best choice. ;)

We get another two containers arrived our UK and Germany warehouse, if everything goes as plans, we are ready to ship them from tomorrow. ;) All the grow lights are now in full stock again. Feel free to order. :D And the grow tent will arrive warehouse within this month as well.

Why is the actual wattage draw of the 1600 under veg? Also, what is the draw under bloom?
With only veg switch on, actual wattage is 576w +/- 10w; with only bloom switch on, the actual wattage is around 170w+/- 10w; and with both switches on, actual wattage is 750w +/- 10w. Please remember to turn both switches on during flower to get full spectrum. :d5:
