I know that all the menbers on AFN are very nice, but I wanna make sure to state about our warranty policy again to make sure this issue is clear:
Many of the growers when refering to how many years' warranty, they thought under warranty, company can replace a totally new unit to them, that is not true with many companies, so we are the same. We cannot simply send a new light to you after some time's using.
Our warranty policy now is two years, within the first three month, if your lights has any problem, we ship free replacements parts to you or you ship to our repair centre to fix, no additional fee will be charged. After three month, you need to pay the shipping yourself. As the repair centre is within your country, the shipping won't cost too many. After one year to two year's use, you need to pay the replacement parts fee as well, we have a detailed price list on our website so you will know how much you will be charged due to the different problem of your light. Check more on:www.mars-hydro.com/warranty before buying
Many of customers will say that this policy is just too bad, what we are doing is trying to make things clear to everyone. Not like other companies saying 5 years or more years' warranty, but no detailed poliicy in it, simply misleading. Looking back the previous years, there are many LED grow company appear and disappeared, growblu recently is a good example. We are not like those companies, who is ignore our responsibility, we are always here, so we need to make more detailed policy.
Also some say that our lights has more problems than other led brand. I am here to giving a data, around 98% of the LED grow light are made in China, and among which around 50% of them are made by our company. We sell a lot out to different countries, but the more we sell, the more the defective lights will be, but this doesn't mean our quality is not good, the percentage of the defective units are still low and within reasonable numbers. What you might see is more customers complain the quality, but what you don't know is there are much much more customers are satisfied with our lights still. :)
Please trust us, whenever your light has a problem we will help you fix it, either sending replacements or help you fix in our repair centre, all according to our warranty policy.
Happy growing everyone.
Tina

Ah Tina Tina Tina my lady! How are you doing today? I as well would like to thank you and your company for the very generous Christmas gift for December's competition. That is awesome! :pass: Would just like to let you know I planted my beans in my soil less than 12 hours ago under that beautiful new light! Can't wait to see what pops up. I do have one complaint about the light though tina......

That dang thing is so bright I had to buy some sunglasses from the grow shop to work in my grow area haha thanks again and good luck to all those who get in this month's bom/pom

Alright I just pulled the trigger on a new MarsII 700. This will be my first attempt at trying to grow indoors. Can't wait to give this a shot. Paying for me and my families medicine has gotten expensive. Hoping this will save me money in the long run.

I hope you enjoy the first indoor grow. I'm sure you will like the LED, I have 3 300w Mars LED's in my tent now and can't imagine doing it any differently. Although I would love to grow outside, indoors is the only viable option. Just keep in mind that utilizing LED's as your light source will result in increased need for CaMg supplements during the grow. I feed at 150% to 200% of recommended on CaMg and have never had a problem that I am aware of.
And yes you should save money as well. If I tally all expenditures this year, equipment, soils and ferts, seeds, etc.... I am somewhere just over a grand. My wife has had meds for her chemo issues all year, and we are stockpiling for a RSO run, and have not needed to purchase externally at all. Well worth the effort and minimal time spent and the quality control is completely in your hands.
