Mars Reflector 96x3 Mix Up Grow

I feel for you. I'm new and I know I have been overwatering. I've lost 3 seedlings (out of 6) due to most likely:
"Damping off (or damping-off) is a horticultural disease or condition, caused by a number of different pathogens that kill or weaken seeds or seedlings before or after they germinate. It is most prevalent in wet and cool conditions.[SUP]"[/SUP]

Man ... seeds are too expensive to loose. The same thing happened to me and I got some of those Flora Root Plugs, with no problems since. Also, Home Depot sells a starting soil called "No Damp Off' and their are other root starters available too.

Wishing you better luck this run mate :goodluck:

let me just assure everyone it was NOT the light it was me trying too many different new fangled ideas....back to basics me thinks

hug, hug Peteey. It will be alright in the future.
Everybody learns from the falure.:pighug:

Peetey Bro sad to hear something went wrong...but you know the good ol saying ....Never change a running System ;) Good Luck for the next Run.

So here we go again...15 seeds into soak last night and and by this afternoon all had cracked and were showing signs of coming out of their shell so to speak.
As I've said already I'm going back to the way I know works for me so straight into small pots and when they're a week or so old into the final pot.
Tent will be the same lights are 2 mars reflector 96x3
soil will be John innes number 2 with added perlite for the final pots seeds are in John Innes seedling mix.
At the moment they are in the polytunnel along with the cucumbers tomatoes fuchsias and various other flowers etc I have in there, I did say to the other half that I wasn't going to put anything in there this year but 6/7/8 weeks can't hurt can it? and when they germinate the auto's will go into the tent and the photo's can veg where they are until the auto's are done and then into the tent to flower and possibly chop out the odd male as they're regulars rather than fem's.
Hopefully things will go ok this time as I'm back to tried and tested method, pics to follow when they germ I'm sure you don't want to look at 15 pics of dirt in a pot

Ok folks just a little note to let you know how things are here.
I've managed to salvage one of the NL and the soviet ripper they're both looking much better and are growing very well again now all growth is nice and green and no sign of anything wrong, the NL still shows signs of her rough past in some of the older leaves but she's growing like crazy.
I had nine of the seedlings pop, they took ages because they were outside and the temps were low but that should make for a stronger plant IMO
Everything is in the polytunnel at the moment due to a house inspection from the rental agency but next week the auto's will go into the tent and the rest can stay outside until the tents free
Here's a couple of pics thanks for dropping by

Busy day today in the polytunnel everyone got re potted and now the max gom auto's are ready to go back in the tent in the next couple of days or when I finish putting it back up.
Looking at the NL and soviet ripper I think I've just about got the hang of coco now so I've put the other photo's in it too but the auto's are in my tried and tested john innes with extra perlite
