New Grower Mars II or reflector?

Hi all, I can't decide on a 144x3 reflector or a mars II 400/700. Space is roughly 2x4x6' & will be a scrog. The reflector seems like the best for coverage perhaps? Thing is i want to keep my temps quite high (as Tang does) & the Mars II i think runs a bit hotter than the reflector with it's 5w LED's. So perhaps with the mars i wont have to add a heater, i dunno ?

I get the impression too that the mars II series produce better more dense buds, i see a few people starting out with reflectors only to then do away with them & then flower with the mars. I know the penetration will be better with the mars as it uses 5w as oppose to 3w, but i will be scrogging so perhaps no need?

Seem to be going round in circles trying to make the right decision..

I can't comment much other than I was in the same position recently and went for the II 400w. I am in quite a small tent (the grow lab gl40) and with both vents open and a 4 in duct fan the temps are in the 78-81F range with an ambient room temp of 68. I am happy with the fit and excited to see what it will do.

Well, i was kind of set on the Mars II 400 or 700.. however am now looking at the new sun series! Oh dear. Maybe Tina or Sarah can tell me the advantages of the sun series - has the spectrum been tweeked in these ?

Hey I came across this thread and noticed you said you were using a growlab gl40. I'm looking at getting a similar set up with the same tent. Just curious what kind of results are you getting with your current set up? What do you do about smell? Any information would be useful as I am a total newb. Thanks

Hey Tanglefoot and all. I am looking at the Mars II 400 or 700. I don't see myself growing more than a few plants at a time. Would the 400 be enough? Would 700 be too much? Any thoughts?
