Definitely pleased for 75 days from sprout til harvest! No bottled nutrients at all! Next run I’m just gonna use my tribus stuff in the boxes so no worry about the fish shit cuz even if it doesn’t go bad it smells like a van load of dead horses when I water after using it and some comes out overflow hole! :gassy: Here is also sneak peek of the happy campers in the toofless alien box!

Question @MrOldBoy that worm I see with yellow tail is that cuz earthbox is staying too moist and maybe should water her less? I need to add extra topdressing of build a flower since she is so big with so much more to fill out!

Yesterday I got in some assassin bugs to release in the 2 tents so they could eat any gnats or other invaders that come in! Won’t bug worms and teeny tiny but still have only been able to spot em on my 8 day old girl! Others not sure if they went under eb cover or what!

Nice resource, thank you for posting that. Super helpful man.

Mark the yellow tail is common on some red worms although when my worm bin is overwatered i do see more yellow tails ....

As for watering box less - I actually have an EarthBox that has sat in my basement from last grow that I haven’t done a thing with except water one or twice in the last 2 1/2 months and when I checked under cap the other day the medium was still moist and there were some worms working the compost so I doubt letting water go dry would dry out the soil much ....

From the web:

”The Red wiggler is a topsoil worm, with a deep reddish-brown color. They often have a yellowish looking tint at their tail. Red wigglers will have several stripes or rings down the entire length of the worm’s body. The red wiggler has a clitellum that bulges. This is where it’s reproductive organs are located.”

Looking solid Mark - another few months of growing and you’ll soon be a veteran grower - for just starting last September your expertise is already ahead of most veterans ...... I miss the baseball - Cub Fan btw. :haha:

Well here in Texas u can catch a ball game and a case of covid if u want cuz even with cases rising our stupid governor said it was safe to resume all sports with 50% capacity! Even 1/2 is 20,000 in Tx rangers mew stadium and that’s a lot of people breathing on each other! I’ll stick to espn!

Also guess I should post an update on goldy from last nights :tang: She def had more buds than I expected I guess cuz of how short she was but she def wasn’t skinny! 20” tall and 30” wide!:crying:

Unfortunately I was a dummy and piled the branches up on a cake pan to trim them and were dense enough that the buds on the bottom were smooshed some! Guess I know next time to only trim off what will lay flat without making a mountain again!

Yeah, I just pull one stem at a time now. Looks great btw. My TA's are curing right now. With all the fungus gnat issues they surprised the heck out of me with just over 3 z's
