Seed Stockers maple sherbert x pre 89 skunk and golden lemon haze ( photoperiods )

Clay pebbles won't stop bugs, you need sand for that. What clay pebbles can do is I help with evaporation from the top of the pots, especially if you have fan blowing beneath the canopy.

Reckon I should stick an inch of sand under the pebbles dude? I'm paranoid now! :crying:

If you have fungus gnats I suggest you do it but if you have no bug problem I wouldn't bother. Pain in the ass when getting rid of it at the end of the grow, plus it adds weight to the pots so if your hand watering It can be a little difficult to judge the dryness of the pots. But that being all said it saved my ass when i got an infestation.

how do they smell skunky or more on the sherbert side of things

Just had one of those random moments of memory wile out walking the dog, @stoney T asked how the lady's smelt... well I would say mainly skunky at the moment. Now I think its a couple of the lady's dominating the others, as one up front has more of a orange tang to it.
They really are stinky girls, you know when that tent is open.

Finally somebody said it, i was always wondering about the mystery swinging around here on AFN, but shared it once and got dissed for it.

I had bugs and they've not come back since using pebbles mate. In my experience an inch of pebbles does the trick. Yes sand does it better I imagine, and thats what is generally used. But clay pebs do a double job for me as they also help maintain moisture and dissipate water when top feeding. Much better watering than without the pebbles.
Yeah, but using sand with yellow sticky sheets works, i use the yellow sheets from start in every grow and since then everything gets eliminated from the start, since then no more problems, but in the nearier past i realised that bugs adjusted for any reason, in my last grow they came out in week 7.
