If you harvest when trichomes are milky then you will get a better head high. Let the buds ripen linger and the trichomes will go past milky and start turning amber. More amber trichs tend to give a more body stone. A jeweller’s loop is enough to see them but I bought a small 60x-120x microscope for $15. I just snip a small sample from the plant and put it on the counter so it is steady. For a cheap microscope it works very well for this.
Okay, well I am thinking that I still have a few weeks wait until she fills up the buds. I will start watching them.

I just finished giving her a clean up and removing dead leaves and clearing some small growth that was in the way of some buds. Here she is up close for once, she has flower down and deep under that canopy! She looks like she is starting new flowers under there? Can she still keep making more flowers at this point?
