Hey everyone MakinMoves here with another grow. Well, my first on the AFN network and also my first LED grow! I'm familiar with roll it up, but I'm glad to be here it's a great source of information. Anyway feel free to comment or post below! Here's a picture of my recently harvested white widow to keep it interesting!

Mephisto Genetics Feminized Elite Mix (I ordered the 3 pack from seedsman so seeds could be any strain below.)

Week 1​

Looks like there off to a great start! (One is a late bloomer and is out of the pic) Simply PH'ed RO water at 5.5 with white shark root stimulate. I'm definitely impressed with the white shark, this is my first use and it seems to greatly improve root growth they already have a 6in tap! After a few days in a paper tower they were germinated and added to the starter. I've also cut a whole in my seed starter for the ability to add an air stone to keep the water oxidized.

This'll be fun! It will be the first time I've seen Fox Farms nutes in full hydro/DWC

Thanks a lot! You got me stoaked I've heard great things about LEDs and how far they've come over the years, even more excited about mephisto can't wait to see a result! Hoping to get some pretty dense nugs this run. Fingers crossed!

Wow beautiful grow man! I was so inspired I had to twist one up and spark it!:kusht: So good to hear that about density from an experienced grower I've struggled with it in the past... Anyway I have a herniated disk that I had surgery on and still deal with daily pain hoping this shit really packs a punch how was your smoke?

I'm a newb too...started in April with a Sweet Seeds Dark Devil (Which was fantastic, BTW...can't say enough about Sweets)

Yeah, I have a herniated disc as well (L5-S1) and no surgery. The Mephisto gear I have grown/harvested/cured and am
now smoking is the Tyrone Special...I grew 2 of them side by side and ended up with 2 different phenos. One that leaned
towards the Sour Crack parent and was more indica and one that leaned towards the Green Crack parent and is a more
balanced hybrid. The Sour Crack-dom pheno ambered a little faster and is really good night-time smoke with a good overall
body novocaine effect and kind of an anxiety reliever. An "all-is-right-with-the-world" sleepiness once you lay into it a bit.

The Green Crack-dom pheno is more energetic, creative, happy, day-buzz but still some body numbness. They are both
great and great utilized together...almost like an AM and PM Cold Medicine...The Sour Bubbln Cracks are Sour Crack x HBSS
(Hubbabubbasmelloscope) so there is a good chance it will be similar in the indica, nighttime, Sour Crack goodness.

It's definitely strong and pleasant. You'll like You just have to do some testing and sampling to see what strain is
really going to be you're most effective pain relief.

No surgery..? You're a trooper! How can you stand it? I had a silver dollar size hole in my lumbar area when it blew out and I couldn't even sit down without pain and a numb leg. Congrats on making it without the surgery! Dark Devil Isn't that the strain that has an all purple/redish pheno? It's always caught my eye and was actually a potential choice a few grows ago I'll have to check it out sometime. I imagine the tyrome would end up a personal favorite considering the green crack I've had was definitely a chart topper on my personal list... that's one thing that sucks so many strains so little time wish i could just grow them all at once haha and the AM/PM mix you're talking about sounds exactly what I'm aiming for. I mean I smoke every day not only for pain but to be honest i like to just get high sometimes to haha so I'll operate on any strain but having a balanced mix always lets you enjoy your medication 10x more.

My herniation isn't as bad...really classified between a bulge and a herniated. It's a low level of constant pain and nerve
issues unless I overwork it, like during hunting season when I'm wearing a pack all day. I have one spot on the side of
my thigh that's numb at all times, 24/7 so I figure that's permanent nerve damage. But I've learned the signals and know
when to back off of it, so I don't get the debilitating "Can't-move-without-shooting-passout-pain" stage....

RE: Dark Devil - yeah, they exhibit purple like 7 or 8 out of 10. There is a whole family of the red/purple/black strains.
From memory...Dark Devil, Red Poison, Black Cream, Devil Cream, Bloody Skunk are the ones that can go purps.

Same on the smoking - I'm a stoner from the 80's that just happens to need it for pain now that I'm middle-aged
